Under my Skin

Klaus put his hand on my cheek. I flinched pushing him off. " Get out Klaus!" I said. He smiled and laughed. " Get out!" I yelled. Klaus left and I went upstairs to get changed.

After I got ready I slipped into bed and fell asleep. The next morning I got dressed. I didn't look at my bed until I hear someone say " Morning, Love." I was positive it was Klaus. " What do you want!" I snapped at him.

" Once upon a time we were lover's, I want it back." Klaus said. "After what you did to me in the 10th century!" I yelled. " Love hey I'm sorry for what I did but you can't hate me forever." Klaus said.

I felt a slight feeling that he was right but part of me knew this was wrong. I didn't know what to believe. " No I don't I'll never forgive you." I said. " I got you to stop yelling at least." He said using his vampire speed to stand in front of me. " Get out." I said in a calm voice.

" And if I don't?" Klaus testified. "Then ill through you out." I said. He smiled and left. After that I sat on my bed like I did every day and thought about my mother.

I wanted to know why I could eat human food and I knew I had to find her. I have been tracking her ever since Egypt and still no trace of her. I got up and got in the car and drove to school. After I arrived Stefan pulled me aside. " I found your mother!" He said in excitement.

" You did!" I said shockingly.

" Yes she is on her way here. I sent Damon to capture her."

" Tell me when you have her." I said as I walked over to Elena and Caroline who just got there.

" Hey guys!" I said with excitement.

" He Hayley!" they said happily. We continued to talk. Then I saw them; The Mikalson's.

I told Caroline and Elena to find Bonnie, Matt, and Tyler and get to class. After they left I approached the Mikalson's.

" What are you doing here!" I snapped at Klaus

" I'm here for Elena and someone else." He said.

"Who Caroline." I said angrily.

" No you." He said. I felt a hand run down my neck and then everything went black. When I awoke I was tied to a chair. I screamed for help but there was just silence.

Then in the distance I heard a very terrified voice say " Hayley is that you?" the girl stuttered. I soon knew who it was. It was Elena. "Elena no!" I said shockingly.

" Hayley I'm scared." I heard her say. " Don't worry Klaus won't kill you." I said obviously knowing better. I knew he would kill her. But what did he want with me?

The door open suddenly and Klaus came in using his vampire speed to move Elena somewhere else and come back. He walked up to me until our faces where inches away. " What do you want." I said irritated. " You love."

He said kissing me on the lips. Something in me made me kiss back. " Do you love me?" Klaus asked me. I didn't know what to say. I just put my head down.

He laughed and said " I'll see you tonight love." and then he was gone. I knew what he was going to do. He was going to kill Elena. I couldn't let him kill her.

I saw there was a table with a tray on it. I knocked it over and realized the tray was full of knifes. I kicked one of the knifes to my feet picking it up with my feet and throwing it to my lap. I picked it up with my mouth and used my vampire strength to hold on tightly. I leaned the knife over to my left arm cutting the rope that was dipped in vervain and freed my arm then took the knife and cut the other rope on my right arm.

I then bent over cutting the ropes on my legs and used my vampire speed to stop Klaus. When I got there I was too late. Elena looked dead in Stefan's arms and I saw Klaus who passed out Bonnie. I knew if I got to close he would pass me out or even worse kidnapped me.

Then I saw Elijah attack Klaus. In an instant Elijah was holding Klaus's heart. I thought he was going to kill him but he didn't. Instead he was gone in a flash taking Klaus with him. Stefan said Elena was still alive.

I sighed in relief as Damon cared Bonnie and Stefan cared Elena back to the Salvatore mansion where we all waited for her to wake up. When Elena awoke she looked at me as I was leaning against the doorway. "Hayley?" Elena asked " Yea it's me." I said looking down. Elena held me.

I shoved her off. " I don't want to talk about it." I said. I left the house shortly after and went for a walk. As I was walking down the streets of Mystic Falls I felt as if I was being followed.

I continued to walk until I felt someone right behind me. "Hey Darling." I knew it was Kol. " Kol what are you doing Klaus will kill you!" I said.

" He's busy with Elijah right now." Kol said. " Kol I did something that I regret back there when I was trapped." I said looking down. Kol lifted up my head and said.

I don't care about what happened before all I care about is right now." Kol kissed me and I kissed back. " Let's run away together you and me." " Ok but I need to say goodbye to Elena and Caroline." I said.

Kol nodded and then we heard someone approaching us from the side where the road was. I felt a slight fear run up my body. " I don't think you will be going anywhere with her dear brother." The man said." Kol and I knew it was Klaus.

Then before Kol or I could say anything Klaus staked kol and used his vampire speed to put him in the coffin and used his vampire speed to get back to me. " Why can't you leave me alone." I said looking into those eyes. The eyes of Klaus were no longer the same dreamy eyes I had once saw in the 10th century. These eyes where dark and an endless pit of fire.

That was all I saw in those eyes.

" I can't leave you alone because you belong with me love." Klaus said.

" Just leave me alone." I testified.

I used my vampire speed to go to my bedroom before he could say anything. I jumped on my bed and put myself in a laying formation. When I landed on my bed I reached out grabbing my phone and setting it to play I hate myself for loving you by Joan Jet and the black hearts. After the song was finished someone said " Was that song for me love." I knew it was Klaus.

Klaus stepped in leaning on the doorway. " Are you going to follow me all day." I said irritated.

" Yes love I am." Klaus said. I sighed in discontent.

" Where's Kol." I said

" I'm not telling you." Klaus said

" Fine then I'll find him myself." I said getting up and walking passed Klaus. Before I could leave I felt a hand run down my neck and then everything went black.
