Tired of running

"Kol!" I sad seeing him approach from behind Klaus. "Hey darling." Kol said sadly and looking down. I was going to ask what was wrong but I could see the problem. I knew if I and Kol would ever be together Klaus would stake him.

I sighed in discontent. " Aren't you going to run?" Klaus asked me. " I'm tired of running Klaus." I said angrily standing my ground. " We will see about that." He said as he used his vampire speed to leave.

Kol looked at me in a loving way. I could see he wanted to say something but he used his vampire speed and left after Klaus. After they left I saw Elena coming and I knew Klaus would be looking for her because Stefan told me he was planning on becoming a hybrid and Elena was the only human doppelganger we knew. " Sup Hailey Elena said. " I had changed my name when I was running away multiple times but this time I wouldn't run anymore because I knew I had to protect Elena. " Elena we have to ditch school and come to my house."

I said to Elena. Elena wanted to ask why but decided not to and followed me. After we arrived at my place I told Elena to sit on the couch and I went to call Stefan and Damon. Damon picked up the phone and said

" Hello my sweet Hayley." Damon had a crush on me but he reminded me of Klaus. That's why I don't want to go out with him.

" Whatever Damon!,  is Stefan there?"

" No sweetheart."

" Shut up Damon it's important!" I yelled into the phone

" Ok what is it." he said

" Klaus is back and all you care about is getting a date with me and getting drunk all the time!" I said angrily

" Ok ok I get it it’s a serious matter." he said. I could hear him drinking beer in the back ground.

" Put that beer down Damon I can hear you drinking it." I heard him set it down and the door open.

" Put Stefan on the phone Damon." I heard Damon hand the phone to Stefan.

" What is it Hayley. Stefan said

" Klaus is in town but don't worry I have Elena safe with me." I said

" I’m on my way." Stefan said hanging up the phone.

I went to Elena who was still there on the couch. " So what is the problem." Elena said to me. " Klaus is here." I told her. " WHERE is Stefan!" Elena said worried.

" Don't worry he’s on his way."  I said. Elena nodded looking around to make sure Klaus wasn't there. " You’re safe here Elena but I need to tell you something." I said sitting down. " What is it?" Elena asked.

And so I told her my entire story of when I was born to that point. " You knew Klaus before?" Elena asked I nodded. Then the door range. Elena hid behind the couch as I opened the door.

" Where's Elena?" Stefan asked.

"Inside; hiding." I said. Stefan came in and went to Elena. Elena held Stefan and they stood there holding each other.

It reminded me of Klaus and Kol so I went upstairs to my room and looked out the window. After a while Stefan said he was taking Elena to her house so he could inform her brother. I said ok and they left. I watched as they left and saw it was getting late. I took off my clothes and stepped into the shower.

In the middle of rinsing the conditioner from my hair I heard the door open. I quickly rinsed my hair send got out wrapping a red towel around me. I stepped out and walked downstairs to the living room watching my feet as I walked. When I looked up I was right in front of the last person I wanted to see Klaus.
