Brother Against Brother

I woke up the next morning with another person in my bed. I turned around to see who and I came face to face with Klaus. " Morning love." I jumped out of bed. " What are you doing here?" I asked. He held up the note I had placed on the table and read it.

"My brother is always going after what I want. Stay away from him" I nodded as he walked up close to me and kissed me. " I love you Twyla." he said pulling my hair behind my ears. He kissed me again then left.

I stood there for moment thinking about what just happened then I got dressed in a white dress and white shoes. I walked over to Kol's Window instead of knocking on the door trying not to attract Klaus. After I threw a few rocks Kol answered " Yes darling?" He said as if he was asking why I was here. " Kol can we go for a walk." I asked.

Kol nodded sliding down a pipe. When Kol reached me he held my hand and we walked down to the lake. I sat there as kol threw rocks into the lake. After a little while Kol sat down holding my hand again. " Why are your hands so cold?" he said trying to warm it up.

I was shocked. "I couldn't tell him I was a vampire." I thought to myself. " Twyla?" Kol said in an asking way. " I I it's complicated." I said.

" How so?" he asked.

" I’m I’m a v v vampire." I said. Kol looked at me in wonder. " What are vampires?" he asked.

I told him everything and he nodded kissing me. " Come over tomorrow morning so we can talk more." He said. " Why do you have to go?" I asked.

Kol pointed to his house where I could see Klaus returning home calling for Kol. I looked at Kol nodding as he ran off. I turned back to face the lake when I came face to face with my mother. Before I could say anything I felt a hand run down my neck and before I could react everything went black. When I awoke I was tied to a chair.

I looked up at a table where I saw my brother on the other side of the table " Corey?" I asked. He nodded trying to talk but I saw there was a gag in his mouth. I looked around trying to find a way out. I heard Corey making a sound like he was trying to tell me not to struggle. After a few minutes of struggling I felt pain come to me.

I looked down and I was tied up with vervain. When I stopped struggling I heard the door open and our mother and father walked in. " me and your father have decided that we should have never turned you into this so we are going to kill you." I thought about Kol and Klaus crying a bit that I never got to see what we could have been. " It’s ok my daughter" My mother said holding a white oak stake; toying with it.

I closed my eyes I couldn't bear looking at it. When I thought it was all over I heard the door burst open. My eyes where still shield shut until I hear a voice say " let her go!" That voice I knew it it was Klaus. I opened my eyes. When I looked up I saw Klaus, Kol and their mother standing there. Then my mother showed that she was a Witch and to my surprise Klaus and Kol's mother was a witch too. " Let them go now!" Esther testified

" And if I don't?" asked my mother

" I’ll kill you." Esther said.

My mother didn't reply. She tried to hit Esther with her most powerful power; but Esther was too powerful. She knocked out my mother with a powerful blow. My father tried killing my brother but Klaus threw him across the wall crippling my father. As Klaus fought with my father I felt a pair of hands untie me and kiss me " it’s going to be alright darling."

"Kol!" I said

" Yes it's ok darling." Kol said.

After I was untied I heard a slam as if someone was flung against the wall. When I turned to look I saw that Klaus flung Kol to the wall. " She’s mine." Klaus said to Kol pulling him off the wall and pushing him back to the wall. Kol laughed.

" She’s mine brother always mine." Kol said.

Klaus kicked him and was going to beat the life out of him when I grabbed him and threw him to the other wall. I kissed Klaus then I remembered my brother was still tide up. I used my vampire speed uniting him and before I could say anything he was gone. I used my vampire speed to go back to Kol helping him up and kissing him.

" I love you but I love Klaus more." I said looking down.

After I looked up I saw he was looking at Klaus with pure hatred. Klaus just smiled. I backed away from Kol facing him. I backed up until I bumped into someone. When I looked up I saw it was Klaus.

Klaus held me kissing me. I scanned the room seeing Esther had left and took my parents unconscious body’s with her. I also realized my mother's spell book was gone as well. I closed my eyes. I felt someone lift me up and walk out the door.

I didn't open my eyes until I was set on a horse and my arms where raped around Klaus. On the gallop home I and Klaus talked. " I forgot to ask love. Why are your hands so cold?" Klaus asked. I knew I had to tell him

Umm Klaus?" I said

"Yes love." Klaus replied

"I I I’m a vampire." I said.

" What are vampires?" Klaus asked. I told Klaus all he needed to know.

After we arrived at home Klaus brought me to his room. I sat on his bed as he painted me until we were interrupted by someone calling Klaus to come and fight him. We both knew it was Kol. Klaus went to get his armor and sword as I looked out the Window. I saw almost everyone in town surrounding Kol who was sharpening his sword.

Seeing this I tried to tell Klaus not to go but he refused to listen to me. Klaus stepped outside and he and kol fought. I watched from against the wall of the Mikalsons home. After three minutes I couldn't watch anymore. I closed my eyes until I heard someone break up the fight.

I opened my eyes and Rebekah stopped them. Break it up. Klaus kissed me and told me to go home. After I arrived at home I got undressed and looked out the window watching as Klaus and Henrik go into the woods to watch the werewolves turn. After I couldn't see them I slipped into bed and laid there for a while.

I had a feeling something bad was going to happen. The next morning I went out to see Klaus returning with Henrik’s lifeless body in his hands. I watched as Klaus laid his lifeless brother down on the soft pills of leaves. I heard Rebekah crying over her brother. " I told you not to go with your brother tonight."

She said sobbing at the same time. I saw Elijah hugging her saying it was not her fault. Then Klaus came to me held me saying in a crying voice " if only he hadn't gotten to close." As I patted Klaus's back I watched Esther pull her husband into the house grabbing what looked like my mother’s magic book. I slowly pushed Klaus off of me walking to the window.

As I used my vampire hearing I could hear Esther and Mikael talking so clearly. They were planning on turning their son's and daughter into what I was; A Vampire; A blood thirsty monster. I couldn't let this happen. I busted the door open telling them they would regret there choice in the future. They wouldn't listen.

Mikael ran out and killed Rebekah and Klaus. I should have been able to stop him but for some reason my vampire speed stopped for a second. When my speed worked again. I used it grabbing Elijah and locking him in the closet in my house. I watched as Mikael killed the rest of his son's.

There was really nothing I could do. Soon Mikael came and busted into my door. He then ran over to me and snapped my neck. Then everything went black.
