The Ball

After I awoke I saw Klaus leaning over me. " Are you ok love?" He asked as I slowly began to wake up; get up slowly. " I'm fine." I said as I finally opened my eyes scanning Klaus.

I saw that he was just the same as he was before but he had pale skin like mine. I looked down as guilt overwhelmed me. Klaus saw the guilt in my eyes and tilted my head up and turned it back to his eyes. " It's not your fault." he said kissing me and holding me so close as if he was protecting me form the guilt I felt.

It's was nice; feeling that it wasn't my fault but guilt drove its way back into my eyes as I pushed Klaus off looking at the floor in guilt Klaus lifted my head and said. " It's not your fault don't blame yourself." He said looking into my eyes as I looked into his. We started at each other's eyes in complete silence. It was perfect.

After a few minutes that felt like hours I got up and headed to my room interrupting the silence. On my way to my room I heard the door open and Rebekah,Kol,Flinn and Elijah walked in. There skin was as pale as mine and Klaus's. I turned back around and walked up the rest of the stairs and into my room. I laid down on the bed thinking about Klaus and that perfect moment.

I smiled and then I fell asleep. When I awoke Klaus was on top of me kissing me then stopping looking into my eyes. "Morning love." "Klaus!" I said shockingly pushing him off. " I wanted to ask you if you wanted to go to a ball." Klaus asked.

I stared into those dreamy blue eyes of his. I couldn't say no. After I had agreed to go Klaus grabbed my hand and lead me down the stairs. I saw Rebekah and her brothers reading the book that my mother had given me to read when I was turned. I didn't see Kol reading the book though.

I was about to search the room when Klaus pulled me to a door. Klaus put his hand on the door about to turn and open it when he looked at me and said " close your eyes love." I closed my eyes snickering. Klaus lead me into the room and said. " Stay there.

Keep your eyes closed." When Klaus told me to open my eyes he handed me a dress. It was light blue with white long sleeves. " Thank you!" I said kissing Klaus and running up the stairs to my room.

As I opened my room I saw Kol standing face to face with me. " Hey there Darling." he said lovingly grabbing my arms tightly. " Kol no let me go." I said but he pulled me in the room pushing me against the wall next to the door.

Then kol's lips got closer to mine and kissed me. I smiled then quickly frowned and looked down. Kol lifted my head up and smiled kissing me again. Kol walked out and I stood there for a few minutes. Then I put on the dress Klaus gave me.

I also put my hair in a ponytail and put my green dance shoes on. After I was ready I stepped out of my room and Klaus lead me to the carriage. After I got in the carriage I saw Kol in front of me smiling sadistically. Klaus got in the carriage from the other side and saw Kol staring at me sadistically. Klaus gave Kol the evil eye and sat down.

I imagined them fighting so clearly in my head. Kol would announce his love for me and Klaus would throw him against the wall. I continued to imagine the fight until I was interrupted by Klaus saying " Where here love." I got out of the carriage and I stared in amazement. The castle was huge.

After I stepped inside I felt someone grab my hands and I started dancing. When I looked up I came face to face with Kol. I put my head on his shoulder closing my eyes as we danced. After a while I felt him let go and someone else grab my hand. When I looked up I came face to face with Klaus.

I put my head on his shoulder and looked around for Kol. I saw Kol talking to a guy who was staring at me ever cense I got there. I closed my eyes enjoying the dance. When Klaus stopped dancing with me I looked around for Kol and that guy. I didn't see them anywhere.

I was going to look around the rest of the castle when Elijah grabbed my arm saying " Rebekah wants to speak with you." Before I could say anything Elijah

Pulled me to Rebekah. When we reached Rebekah she looked mad at me. I sat down and Rebekah started the conversation. " Stay away from my brother's." " It's not my fault!" I testified. Before Rebekah could say anything we heard screaming coming from the other room.

After we found the source of the screaming we saw that Kol was sucking that guy's blood. He wouldn't stop so Elijah pulled his brother off the man and compelled the man to forget everything and go home. After the man left Elijah yelled at Kol. As Elijah was yelling at Kol I felt a hand comes in contact with mine.

When I looked up I saw it was Klaus put my head on his shoulder. After we returned home I went upstairs and lay down. After a few minutes I felt someone lying down next to me. I turned to look and it was Kol. I shifted away from him almost falling of the bed.

Kol smiled and said " I don't care who you love more. Your mine." He said smiling evilly. Then Klaus walked in saying " Kol?; get out!" He said giving Kol the evil eye. Kol smiled and left. After Kol left Klaus laid down next to me.

I rolled back over and shifted my way into his arms. After a while Rebekah came in telling Klaus that she wanted to speak with me alone. After Klaus left Rebekah said " I thought I told you to stay away from my brother's or choose one." I want to leave Kol but he won't give up on me. It's not my fault."

"Fine." She said leaving the room. I laid down on my bed and fell asleep.
