The Escape Plan

I lay down in bed and closed my eyes as I feel asleep. When I awoke Klaus was next me.

"Morning love." He said as he did in the 10th century.

" What do you want with me?" I asked angrily.

" I need you Twyla you bring the good in me." Klaus said.

" Don't call me Twyla its Hayley now and Klaus there is no good left in you." I said.

" But there is. Klaus used his vampire speed to get on top of me.

" Your mistaken Klaus there was good in you but now it’s all black pits and an endless fury of war inside of you." I said using my strength to push Klaus off of me.

" I hate the fact that you are older." Klaus said.

" Shut up Klaus." I said looking at him in a loving way. Seeing the way I looked at him I looked away but it was too late I knew Klaus saw my look and my heart had just felt like it melted. What am I saying. No no no no no no NO I can't think like this.

What do I feel for Klaus that I don't feel for Kol? What makes me need both of them so constantly. I said shaking my head. As I thought to myself Klaus flung me to the bed back in the same position I was before. " Tell me you love me will you love?" Klaus asked me.

" I do Klaus bu-" I was cut off by Klaus kissing me. I actually enjoyed it when he cut me off. Klaus continued kissing me down my neck. "Klaus." I moaned.

Klaus smirked and continued kissing me. " Klaus please please don't stop." I met to say stop but something in me made me say don't. Klaus kissed me for hours and I didn't even want him to stop. I felt so much pleasure and enjoyment as Klaus kissed me.

It wasn't the Sire bond that made me feel this way. I was too strong for it. It was something in me a care for him. When it was done Klaus kissed me on my forehead one last Time and said " See you later love." Then he was gone.

I had to get that memory out of my head and find Kol so we could run away together. I wasn't about to leave Kol in a coffin and be with Klaus. Klaus the one who nearly killed my friend. Killed my adopted family after turning my humanity off in the 10th century and hunted me down for so many more centuries. No this love wasn't right and I headed to find Kol.

When I stepped outside I was approached by Elijah who said. " Hayley I see that you are planning to run away with Kol and leave town. I will help you but you must promise me you will keep running no matter what. I can stall my brother Klaus but I cannot keep him from hunting you two down." I nodded and Elijah took me to Kol.

Kol was in the mikalson's mansion in Mystic Falls and Klaus was not home yet so Elijah led me to the coffin where kol lied staked. I unstaked him and then as we waited for Kol to awake I asked Elijah how Klaus didn't stake him after he saved his life. " I made a promise to my brother that I would help him with whatever he needed and for that he refused to stake me now I have made a deal with you to keep you out of harm’s way and that is what I intend on doing so we must wait for Kol to awake and if he does and Klaus is home there is a back door to lead you out without being spotted." Elijah said handing me the keys. I nodded and we heard the door open.

" Elijah I’m home." Klaus said sounding as if he had accomplished something. I shivered in the thought of it being what Klaus and I did back in my house early today. Elijah went to stall Klaus and Kol woke up. " Hayley is tha-" I cut kol off by kissing him.

" We have to go and leave right now." I whispered to him. Kol nodded and we snuck out the back door. After we left I went to visit the Gilbert house to say goodbye to Jer and Elena. Then I went to the Forbes house where I said goodbye to Caroline and Tyler who unsurprisingly was there as well.

I then visited the Bennett's for my last goodbye to Bonnie and Matt who was at Bonnies as well. I knew we had to leave town but I could not go without saying goodbye to the Salvatore’s and so I used my vampire speed to do a quick goodbye. When I knocked on the door Damon answered.

" Yes Ms. Hayley Salvatore?" Damon asked in a loving way. I can't believe he was still flirting with ne after I told him to shut up.

" Whatever Damon I just came to say goodbye to you and Stefan if he was home." I said.

" Stefan is by the docks with Elena but how about a little parting gift from you to me." Damon said.

I groaned. " I don't have time for this." I said using my vampire speed to reach Kol once again and we ran off. We were headed to California.
