Jacks POV

Me and Mark walked to school.

We both spotted the guys. They immediately saw us too.

They all ran across the street.

The next thing I know, I'm being lifted by Bob. I giggled.

We all formed a group hug. It's so good to know that they care. I even saw Ethan!

I really need to do something for them.

But right now I need to tell them the bad news me and Mark found out.

When we were all done, Mark spoke up. "Um.... guys?" Mark was nervous. I could tell.

They all looked up at him. "Jack has a b-broken rib." He stuttered.

I looked down.

They all looked at me.

Felix came up. "We need to protect him at all times from josh." My head shot up.

"Yeah!" They all shouted.

"Do all of us at least have one class with jack?" Dan asked.

They all nodded. Phil came up to me and put a hand on my shoulder. "Jack, you need to stay with one of us at all times, ok?"

I nodded. Phil just had this calming voice that tells me everything will be alright.

We walked to school with my friends surrounding me in a big circle. Mark was in the front, leading them.

I feel so bad that they have to do this. They shouldn't. They don't need to protect me.

They could get hurt, but they don't care as long as I was safe.

They are true friends.

We finally made it to school.

I saw josh glare at me. I didn't tell anyone. I didn't see a point to.

We all walked to our classes.

I had this one with Mark, so I was happy.

Marks POV

I was looking around the room making sure josh wasn't there yet.

Me and Jack sat by the teacher's desk.

He wouldn't let anything happen to me or Jack.

I won't let anything happen to him.

He's the love of my life.

I thought about us, our future, our family.

I stopped myself.

Soon Mark, very soon.

We had to do a assignment on the computer.

Every time I look at the keyboard, I always see U and I together.

Cheesy Mark, really cheesy. I chuckled.

But that moment was ruined when I saw josh.

He glared at jack. So jack wasn't here for weeks and he still wants to pick on him?

His aunt and her boyfriend stabbed jack, it's like he wants to do the same

Jacks POV

I saw josh glare at me again.

I still didn't tell Mark that josh was set up to kill me.

I need to tell him, but he'll just get more worried.

I wanted the school day to be over already and it hasn't even started yet!

(Time Skip To The End Of School)

I survived the school day.

Me and Mark walked home, hand in hand.

I loved this feeling.

When we at the front door, I saw a car I could recall I knew, but I couldn't put my finger on it.

Mark grabbed his keys and unlocked the door.

He opened it and stopped in his tracks.

His mom was there with tears in her eyes.

He went up to her and wrapped her in a hug.

I couldn't move. What was going on?

I'm so confused.

She finally spoke up. "J-Jack, some people came to see you."

I was now really confused and nervous.

Who would want to see me?

I walked in and froze at the people I saw.

I had tears streaming down my face. "Ma! Dad!"

I ran up to them. "Jack!" They both yelled.

I tackled them in a hug.

We were all crying.

We stood there for five minutes. I missed them holding me.

This was a great moment that I knew would soon be ruined.

I looked behind me to see Mark smiling with tears threatening to fall.

We let go. "Jack, we really missed you." My dad spoke with my mom agreeing with him.

"How about we all eat dinner together." My ma suggested.

We all agreed.

My ma and Mark's ma went into the kitchen.

Me, Mark and my dad say on the couch.

This was one of the best moments in my life.

I was finally part of a family again.

I couldn't be happier.
