Marks POV

Phil told me that a guy knew where jack was. I started to freak out. I was excited and scared.

Phil's POV

When school was done, me and dan went to Ethan's house.

I knocked on the door. We got an answer immediately. "Hey I'm Ethan. Follow me I'll show you to jack."

He was very nice. He lead us to the room that jack was in.

He knocked. "Jack, dan and Phil are here." No response. Ethan opened the door.

Jack wasn't in there. Me and dan looked at each other. "He was here! Where the hell is he?!?"

I walked up to Ethan. "Are you sure it was him?" I asked in a claiming voice. "Yes, how else did I have his phone?"

We all sighed. "We need to look for jack."

Then we noticed that the window was opened. I looked out. We all saw jack running. "JACK!!" We all shouted.

Next thing I know, Dan jumps out the window and runs after Jack.

Ethan then does the same. Oh gosh now it's my turn. It wasn't that scary when I landed on the ground and ran.

Jacks POV

I saw them running after me. I was kinda limping so dan caught up. He tried to gently grab me but I sped up.

I had tears streaming down my face. I finally got the courage to speak up. "GET AWAY!! YOU'LL JUST GET HURT!"

More tears streamed down my face. I'm alone in this world. I shouldn't of thought I wasn't or get close to people.

We ran down the street. We passed my house and Mark's. His ma's car was there.

We ran to the woods like last time. But my luck ran out when dan tackled me to the floor.

We winced in pain. The loud footsteps stopped. I saw Ethan and Phil looking down at me.

"Jack, why did you run?" Ethan asked while panting.

I was on the floor with dan still on me so I didn't run.

"I-I," I couldn't get the words out right.

"You what?" Phil asked with sorrow in his voice. "I screwed everything up between me and Mark." I sobbed.

I felt dan get up and wrapping me in a hug. I cried in his chest. He rubbed circles on my back.

"Jack you need to talk to us, what happened?"

I lifted my head up. "J-josh threatened me that if I didn't stop talking to Mark he would hurt m-me." I took a deep breath. "Mark tried to talk to me in the hall but I walked away. I looked around the corner to see J-Josh k-kissing M-Mark."

I was crying so much now. "Shh jack it's ok. Everything will get better." Dan said.

I pulled from the hug. "Everyone says that! It never does and it never will!" I said louder than I expected.

I sobbed and dan hugged me again.

"I ruined everything."
