Still confused, I slowly release my hand from Brandon's, giving him the signal, and walked over to Chelsea.

"Uh, hey Chels, want to introduce me to anyone?" I slowly said, giving her the look.

"Oh yeah, of course. Sen this is Zach... Zach this is Sen." she simply replied, almost sounding pleased.

"It's nice to meet you Zach. But my name is actually Seneca, people just call me Sen." I said, correcting her.

"Pleasure as well... Seneca." he said, a little shy and making sure he said the right thing.

"Zach and I became a thing yesterday when I went to the beach. Right when I saw his hazelnut brown hair, and his gorgeous green eyes, I immediately went over to introduce myself. He told me a little about himself, as did I and then we went to get a drink together and he asked me out. Long story short." I could tell Chelsea was happy and pleased. What I don't get is last year, she told me guys are worthless and says that if a guy asks her out, she'll quickly reject them.

"Yeah, I'm into surfing. That's the only sport I do. I just moved here to California over the summer, but I go to a different school. When Chelsea told me there was a party at this school, she quickly added that you can bring any friend, so I agreed to go." I can't tell if he's a nice guy, or one of those guys who act nice, but their personality is really just being selfish and rebels. Maybe in between those two choices. I can't say if I trust him yet, but it sure looks like Chelsea does.

1 hour later

Me and Brandon danced to like five slow songs together, then Megs and I were at the food table for like half an hour, talking about Chelsea and her new boyfriend Zach.

"I think Derek knows Zach from surfing in the summer. I'll have to ask him. I'll also ask him if Zach is one of those rebels who seem nice at first, but become jerks." We both laughed the way Megan said that.

Brandon came quickly walking over and out of nowhere, tugs my arm and pulls me away from Megs, and quickly out in the hallway into the high school. I noticed his face... very red and sweaty, and worried.

"What the heck Brandon, are you okay? Did something happen," then a thought popped into my head, "DID YOU GET INTO A FIGHT BRANDON!" I felt bad yelling but it was my job to know what happens to him.

"Sen listen, we need to leave, NOW! Ok? I swear I'll tell you on the car ride home, but we need to leave." His face... he's scared. That makes me scared. But instead of saying something back, I nod and run with him to the parking lot. After we get into the car, he quickly turns the engine on, puts it on drive, and drives out of the parking lot.

When we got onto the road, I finally had the guts to say something.

"Ok Brandon, tell me exactly what happened. You're literally freaking me out."

"Ok listen, I know I said I'll tell you on the way back, but I'm taking you to your house and asking your parents if you can spend the weekend at my place. Since I know they'll say yes, you'll pack clothes and I'll tell you over at my place, got it?" NOT REALLY, I'M STILL CONFUSED! But I just kept my mouth shut until we arrived.

We both quickly walked inside my house and he went straight to the living room to my parents while I ran upstairs and started packing clothes. I wrote down a list of things I had packed...
