My Only One [Alex Gaskarth]

Not rockstars, baby.

I woke up feeling pretty good. I slid out of my bunk and headed to the kitchen area. I opened up the fridge and grabbed some food. I sat down and began to eat, I noticed I had a text from Alex last night at 2 am.

Heyyyyyyy girlllfrrannnnnnnn. Hang out with me? :)

I sighed. I missed an opprutinity to hang out with Alex.. Wait, why the hell did he text me to hang out at 2am? I shrugged and texted him back.

you know.. most people are asleep at two am.

I finished eating and headed to the bathroom to change. I pulled on a black sports bra and a red Mayday Parade top that I had cut the sleeves off of to make a muscle shirt. I slid on a pair of white shorts and red vans before brushing through my hair and straightening it. I pulled my bangs back with a  white headband and did my make up.

I brushed my teeth and left the bathroom, checking my phone to see if Alex answered. He did.

I smiled and responded, sorry im not cool enough for you?

I sat in the back lounge checking who I'd be taking pictures of today.

Actually, you are cool enough for me.. Only cause you're Italian.

I laughed to myself and typed, don't forget short.. hang out with me now? 

I sat on the couch for about ten minutes, scrolling through some pictures on my camera, waiting for a response. I checked to see if he read my message, and he did. So I texted him again.

ya know. a simple 'no thanks' would be cool.. (: ?

Again, no answer. I sighed and checked the time. 11. Doors just opened, so I decided to go walk around the venue, maybe I'd run into some cool people.

 I left the bus with my camer around my neck and pass clipped to the bottom of my shirt. I walked around all of the fans, and two girls walked up to me. "You're Daniela!"

I smiled, "I am."

"Oh my god.. Can we get a picture with you?" I laughed, this is weird. How do they even know who I am? Just because I'm friends with the guys they want a picture with me?

"Sure." I nodded and took a picture with them. 

"You guys wanna be on Warped's website?" I asked. They smiled big and nodded. So I took a picture of  them making the rock sign with their hands and their tongue sticking out. They thanked me and left and I walked around to take more pictures of the crowds. 

I headed back to the buses and grabbed a beer, Rian walked up to me. "Hello."

"Hey, Ri." I smiled.

"How are you?" He grabbed a beer from the cooler.

"Pretty good. I seriously love all of the fans here, they're amazing."

He smiled and leaned his back against the bus that was right next to the concessions tent. "I love them too."

"Hey, you know if Alex is alright? I was texting him earlier and he randomly stopped texting me. So I texted him again and he didn't respond again."

"I was hanging out with Pierce The Veil," He shook his head, "I spent the night there, I was actually on my way back to our bus when I saw you and decided to come say hi."

"Oh." I said. "I was just kinda worried, ya know?"

He nodded, "Wanna come with me to check on him?"

"Ehh.." I said, playing with my fingers. "I don't know. I feel like he doesn't want to talk to me."

"Oh, come on Dani." He smiled. "Alex adores you, and we all know it."

I smiled back and sipped my coke. "Yeah. But he also adores Tay.."

"Aw, don't tell me you're jealous are you?"

"What!" I shouted, "Ri, I have a boyfriend."

"Oh yeah." He laughed. "But you sound kinda jealous."

"Nahhhhhh." I laughed back.

"Alright, well, I'll go check on him and let you know what's up, sound good?"

I nodded, "Thanks."

"Anytime. See ya later."

"Bye, Rian." I smiled as he walked away. I stood there for a minute just looking around before I headed back to my bus. I found Molly's bunk and opened the curtain. She was sitting on her phone, "Get the hell up."

"Why?" She groaned.

"Cause I'm bored." I stated.

"Hang out with Alex." She said, flopping over.

"You think I didn't try that already?" I laughed.

She smiled up at me. "Give me ten minutes to get ready. Actually, twenty. Because you just admitted I'm your second choice."

"Asshole." I laughed, moving out of the way so she could get out of her bunk. I sat in the back lounge and uploaded the pictures I took today to Warped's website.

"Let's go." Molly said, leaning on the door frame.

I looked up at her. She was so adorable, I was jealous. She wore black shorts, a yellow batman shirt, yellow high top converse and a yellow bow in her newly dyed black hair, which had long extentions in it. And she teased it pretty big.

She looks how I tried to look in highschool. But I failed miserably.

I followed her off the bus and we walked around for a while, running into Mike and Jaime from PTV.

"Hello ladies." Mike smiled.

"Hello." We laughed and decided to hang out with them for a while, walking back to their bus. We sat outside it in some chairs. They all drank alcohol but I really wasn't in the mood, so I stuck to soda. 

We were in the middle of talking about one of Mike's highschool stories when my phone buzzed. I pulled it out.

Hey, sorry it took a while for me to answer. I was stopped by a couple fans. Anyways, Alex is fine. He's in the back lounge watching a movie right now.
