Why does the main character girl always thinks she's not pretty but her description of herself says otherwise.

This is how it is....
I stared at myself in the mirror and sighed at how plain I was, I had long brown hair which was decent I guess, my eyes were bright green like my dad's, I lips were pinkish and pouty. I had freckles littered across my nose.
I guess my figure was alright, my hips were slightly curvy, my boobs were atmost a C cup. Overall I was pretty ugly compared to the gorgeous girls at my school.

This is how you should describe it....

I stared at myself in the mirror and groan at how unattractive I was, my eyes were dark brown, nothing special. I had short black hair, I was certain I had scalp problems, my lips were at least pinkish at the bottom, they were so small compared to the rest of my features, my face was littered with pimples, very unpleasant. My nose was huge asf, my teeth were chipped a little, a reason I rarely smiled.

I guess my figure was decent when I didn't show my tummy or thighs, they were pretty thick. Overall I was ugly asf, but bìtch please.
