A/N: I was inspired to write this because of a similar interaction happening to me. A girl in one of my classes said the same thing about Jungkook from BTS. (Unfortunately he did't magically appear behind me and all I said to her was "Don't touch him" cause *yay* social anxiety, but you get the idea.) I wrote this one about Jack only cause I needed to write something about the green bean. The idea that the Jack and Jungkook deserve more love and respect than 'fake fans' are providing is the same for everyone. Not just celebrities. You guys too, never let someone see you as an inanimate object, you are so much more.

Also I finished writing this while feeling kinda depressed so apologies if the ending peters out.

"Hey Y/N?" You turned to see a girl with long brown hair smiling at you.

"Oh hey, what's up?"

You and her weren't friends but not not friends either, you just didn't spend a lot of time together. She was more of an acquaintance than anything. She tended to be the loud and enthusiastic person in your class, whereas you preferred to remain quietly with your own friends.

"I was just talking to one of my friends and they told me you're a fan of Jacksepticeye."

You smiled at the mention of your boyfriend's name, "Oh yeah, I'm a huge fan. Are you?"

Your relationship with the green haired Irishman was relatively secret, your friends knew and his friends knew but it wasn't something the two of you actively worked to spread.

"Yeah, I only just recently became a fan of him, he's really hot," She ran a hand through her hair.

You laughed nervously, "He definitely is, but he's really funny too. Don't you think?"

She frowned slightly, seeming a bit disinterested, "Kind of? I don't know, he's not really all that funny in my opinion. I just think he's hot."

You paused, letting that sink in, "You're only a fan cause you think he's hot?"

"Pretty much," She shrugged.

With those two words it felt like a wave of red crossed your vision, something about the way she was causally treating the man who made your life so much more incredible like a mannequin made you furious.

"How dare you? He's not just a barbie doll you can drool over you know!? He's an amazing human being that deserves love and respect. Jack is so much more than a hot body. He's funny, and kind, and caring, and happy, and empathetic. You don't have the right to call yourself a fan of him until you can learn to love his smiles, his laughter, his tears, his scars, his history, his fears, and everything he has to offer," You stopped to breath and gage her reaction.

She looked shocked and mildly scared, mouth open in a silent gasp.

"Don't even think about him, he deserves better than you," You scowled and turned to leave, only to be greeted by a broad chest which you bumped your face into.

You rubbed your forehead, mildly upset that your dramatic exit was ruined, "Hey watch where you'r- Jack? What are you doing here?"

He looked down at you with an unreadable expression. You could tell there were about a million different thoughts going through his head at once.

Jack's eyes were locked on yours and he opened his mouth to speak, only to be interrupted by the girl still behind you, "Oh my god Jack? I'm a huge fan! Y/N was totally hating on you and I just protected you from her!"

You whipped around and took a threatening step towards her, "What the fu-"

Jack's hand on your shoulder stopped you in your tracks, "Don't even bother, let me... please."

The girl beamed up at him, clearly thinking she was going to be rewarded. Light blue eyes turned dark and angry  glared at the girl, "Okay look, I hate having to be an asshole but what you said was pretty rude. I could ignore what you originally said about me since it, unfortunately, happens fairly often. Though I still don't like it. What I can't forgive is you trying to lie to me by throwing my girlfriend under the bus. So-"

"Wait what? Your girlfriend? You guys are dating?" The girl looked like a mixture of disappointed and disgusted, "Seriously? Her? Why?"

You'd never seen Jack look more furious than he was right now, eyes darkening impossibly more. His hand clenched around your shoulder to the point where you were sure it would leave bruises, but you could barely feel it through your own anger.

Jack moved to speak again but you turned and placed a hand on his chest in an attempt to calm both him and yourself down, "Don't. This is like talking to a goat. No matter what we say it'll just bleat back the same nonsense. Let's just go."

His chest rose and fell in deep laboured breaths and he took a moment to glare down at the girl who was still beaming at him before taking your hand and speeding out the door.

Jack said nothing as you walked through the halls of your school, heading for the exit. He said nothing. Normally when Jack was mad he would just spout everything that was upsetting him no matter where he was, this was the first time you had ever seen him so mad that he had resorted to silence.

As you reached the entrance of your school's campus you slowed to a stop, holding Jack's hand firmly in your own, "Jack."

He stopped, face softening as he looked at you, "What?" his voice came out quiet and gentle, nowhere near what you expected it to be.

"I-I don't know, I just... I love you you know that right?" You stared up at him with loving intensity.

He tugged at your hand and pulled you into his chest, wrapping his arm arms around you and resting his chin on your head, "I know baby girl, I love you too."

You closed your eyes in content and let the light silence envelope you.

"Thank you for what you said back there by the way, I means a lot," He breathed.

You leaned back and cupped his cheeks in our palms, forcing him to look at you, "It's all true. You deserve the world and more."

Jack leaned in and pressed his lips against yours in a slow, gentle kiss. Every movement flooded with his adoration for you. A feeling of warmth sparked in your chest as you pulled you impossible closer to him, leaving no part of you untouched.

When he finally pulled away he just stared at you with warm, half-closed eyes, "Thank you, I don't know what I would do without you."
