The next day, the autopsy was done. Even though Archie was about to give the police information, they had to talk to Cheryl Blossom, sitting in class with the others. Everyone was shocked to hear that Cheryl, herself, declared that she was guilty as she places her wrists together, waiting for a new accessory—the handcuffs. But Sheriff Keller told her that it wasn't needed.
Frowning, Zariah and Zander saw her being dragged by the sheriff and the principal to their office. It had made them confused as to why she was then made a suspect, raising suspicion. Soon enough, the gang was in the lounge room, talking to one another.
"You know that Chuck's a playboy, right, Veronica?" Zariah squints her eyes at her, questioning. "He's not a boy that you would like to date or even get in a relationship with. God knows what he'll do to you, and it won't be good. I guarantee you, honey."
"Relax, Z—" the twins looked at her in confusion, "I meant Zariah, but anyways, I can handle him. I've had my fair share of colors in my book." Veronica told her after she had just announced that she was going on a date with the Riverdale Bulldogs' captain.
Betty then excuses herself to talk with Jughead, and as they are an interesting set, Zariah gestured with her head towards Zander to follow them. After he does, she turned to them with a grin and asked, "So, Archie... Have you told the men in charge of Jason Blossom's murder mystery?"
"What?" The three (Archie, Veronica, and Kevin) blurts out.
"You heard me, I know some information so whether you say something or not, I'll add you up to the list of liars that'll go to hell, sweet Archiekins. I'm not one to mess with." She smirks, crossing her legs and leaning back against the leather couch.
Archie seemed to have stutter first, but he gave in. "Okay, fine, I did tell them already. Dad found out about my lie when I should have been on a road trip with Jughead on the 4th of July, so... I'm grounded, for two weeks."
"You were caught lying and you got grounded? Sounds like a child's play," Kevin laughs at him. "Maybe we should call him Little Baby Archie the Seven-Year-Old Boy Who Got Caught Lying." He teases Archie and it made him glare at the gay man whilst Veronica and Zariah were giggling at him.

Back again in the auditorium, it was empty so that Zariah and her other bandmates could practice for tonight's event. She was the lead bassist and their vocalist of The Midnight Progress. Her brother was the lead guitarist and they also had another guitarist with a name of Michael and drummer that goes by the name of Alex, a boy by the way.
Tonight, they're going to do a cover of Teenage Dream by Katy Perry while Josie and the Pussycats will do an original. Zariah's band were practicing among themselves singularly, trying to get their beat right before doing a round of jamming out together to the same song over and over again until they perfect it.
"Hey sis," Zander walks up towards her and sat next to her seat since she was practicing by the audiences' chairs. "So, apparently, Betty wanted to start up Blue and Gold—the school's newspaper—and she wanted Jughead's help. Of course, I had popped out of nowhere and got us a spot, the two of us. She had told us that it'll be all about Jason's murder which is also our case. So, expect that we'll both be working with Betty and Jughead from now on, solving a mystery here in Riverdale." He ends with a satisfied smirk.
"That's great," she smiles at him. "At least with more people, we could get information faster than ever. Did she give an assignment?" Zariah asks.
