"And cut!"
Y/N let out a sigh of relief after their director yelled that they'll be able to go back to LA for the weekend to take a break. Madelaine, however, had plans with Travis during the weekend while the other casts were planning on celebrating at Mark Consuelos' place.
They've just finished their last scene on episode four for season two.
"Hey babe!" Y/N's head suddenly turns as she hears Madelaine's voice ringing through her ears. But soon frowned upon when she saw Madelaine approaching Travis who... was there, surprisingly.
I thought he would be busy, Y/N said inside her head as she walks out of the classroom they rented out in a school.
The actress was then led to a van waiting outside the school to take off her no-makeup makeup look. As her makeup artist took joy in taking of her makeup, Y/N remained quiet with her mind running back to what happened in the episode.
Having to act as Madelaine's on-screen girlfriend was going to lead fans screaming for them, and having Y/N's heart turn into an emotional combustion. It was going to end good at her end of things.
Her fingers grazed upon her jaw, feeling the way Madelaine's lips felt on it. It saddened her to be in this kind of situation in where they were both co-stars and one was taken, plus Madelaine was a ruler. A metal ruler, to be specific.
Once her makeup artist moved away after telling her that she was good to go, Y/N remained sitting down on her own chair with her name on the back. She stares at herself in the mirror, and sighed.
Why Madelaine Petsch of all straight people in this world? Why?!
She got her phone from the table along with her earphones and plugged them in, in their rightful places. She leans back as she scrolls through her playlist, playing Take Me Home by Us The Duo. And then, she got lost in her own thoughts.
Lili was laughing at what Camila joked on about as they entered the van. But they soon came into a halt after witnessing Y/N, sitting down in silence when she, as usual, would've came in along with Casey and Cole. Lili knew something was off, and she knew what it was.
"What's up with Y/N?" Camila quietly asks, leaning towards Lili.
"Just contemplating about life decisions, I guess..." Lili told her, which wasn't much of a truth as it is as a lie.
Y/N was definitely contemplating about her life, but most specifically, Madelaine and how fucked up the writers got into their relationship. She wished she could bluntly tell them how she likes Madelaine, truthfully, and force Zariah and Cheryl to break up on-screen but that would also hurt her. Why? Because that was her only shot at having a relationship with a straight girl who's taken by a singer, who's straight, and who was the complete opposite of herself.
"Should we cheer her up? She looks gloomy..."
Lili looks at the girl beside her and nods, "I guess we should."
The two co-stars approached their fellow co-star and sat on either side of Y/N. Y/N took notice of their presence, causing her to take of one of her earphones and lower down the volume.
"Anything you guys need from a person like me?" Y/N asked, blinking multiple times as she tried so hard not to cry while she stares at herself in the wide mirror.
Camila glanced over at Lili whom shrugged, causing her to roll her eyes before saying, "We just... wanted to invite you over at Mark's place to celebrate the fourth of July!" Her tone picks up in joy, trying to cheer up Y/N as much as possible.
