I guess this really is happening. Jinhee and her mom made it to Seoul, South Korea and are standing in front of their new home which was an apartment, a downgrade from her home in California in Jinhee's point of view.

"Let's go on up and check it out,"

"Might as well since we don't want to stand out here looking like idiots." Jinhee mumbled to herself while she followed her mom. The place is nice. They were on the fourth floor and the second door from the elevator which was very convenient.

Walking inside the place looked like one of the Korean apartments you typically see in Korean dramas. "Your room is over there to the left and mine is here to right, so we're right across from each other. Luckily we get our own bathrooms because knowing you you're going to take forever," Jinhee's mom tried to lighten the mood but it was of no use.

She went inside her room and admits the setup of the place is nice. Looks fancier than her old room with windows as the wall allowing a lot of sunlight to come in. Her bed was a queen sized and she saw her TV was brought so it was right in front of the bed. "Like your room?"

"Yeah it's nice but I prefer my old room, in my old home." Jinhee deadpanned. "Sweetie, I know you don't like it but please bear with it. You know I'm only doing this for us because we need money,"

"But you had plenty of money back home! I don't get why you'd come back here when the pay will be the exact same."

"The pay isn't the exact same and you can be grumpy all you want but nothing will change my mind. We are staying here and that's final," Jinhee didn't want to argue with her mom anymore so she left, "I'm going out and I have my phone,"

Jinhee didn't know where she was going, she just knew she had to get out of the house. The neighborhood looked nice, there was a playground for kids and a nearby store. She went there to get some food.

"Gomawoeyo," Jinhee got a triangular bibimbap, a bowl of ramen, and a bottle of water. She sat down at the table in front of the store and texted Jasmine and Jeremy in a group chat.

Jinhee - Landed safely here. But I don't like it. I miss you guys!

Jasmine - We miss you too! FaceTime us!

Jinhee called and Jasmine picked up before the first ring finished. "Show me the area!" Jinhee showed Jasmine her surroundings and what she was eating. "I wish I was there! That looks so good,"

"Jasmine, you know you can always get it there. There are Korean restaurants if you had forgotten,"

"I know I know. So is it that bad?"

"I mean it isn't. The neighborhood is really nice! I just don't know anybody,"

"Oh I know you'll make friends real quick knowing you. I just hope the schools there aren't like what we see in K-Drama," Jinhee rolled her eyes. "Jasmine, that is only on TV. If people were like that and they did something to me, you know I won't put up with it."

"Oh I know! So I'm not really worried."

"Yeah. Where's Jeremy?"

"Jeremy is actually here with me, we're hanging out and he is currently in the bathroom pooping."

"Yuck, make sure you turn the fan on, open the windows, and spray air freshener."

"Oh I definitely will. Well I'm going to let you go because we're going to have dinner. Later!"

"Okay bye!" Jinhee looked around and saw few people around. She wasn't sure if she would be able to make friends.

"Shilehamnida (Excuse me)," Jinhee turned around and a girl that looked about her age was standing behind her. "Ye (Yes)?"
