Twenty Seven

A few days have passed and Jinhee felt completely better. She woke up early to go to school early like usual and on her way she walked with Sarang. The two friends caught up on each other's lives despite always hanging out together as a group.

"So you and Jiyong are still good?"

"Yeah! We are, he's the sweetest honestly and I'm glad that his president is okay with me too!"

"Good I'm really happy for you," 

"How about you? What about your whole love drama?"

Jinhee laughed at her comment, "I don't know...Namjoon confessed but I rejected and then Yoongi gave me a kiss on the cheek so I have that to think about and along with Taehyung and Jungkook. But even though those two are honest about how they feel, for some reason I just don't feel anything new around them."

"But...?"

"But with Yoongi...for some reason I started to see him in a different way. And the kiss really didn't help with how I feel."

"Jinhee, you like him!"

"I do?"

"Oh my gosh, I have to spell it out for you," Jinhee thought about it and it wasn't a bad thought. Just the thought of it her heart started to race faster. Soon enough they made it to school. They both went to the music room and everyone was already there. 

"Jinhee!" They all ran up to her and engulfed her in a big group hug. After a few seconds they all let go except for Taehyung and Jungkook. "Guys, you can let go now. I'm not going anywhere."

"Well we want to keep hugging you!" Taehyung said and then Namjoon and Yoongi went to either side and pulled the two young ones off. "Anyways, I'm happy you're back." Yoongi said and Jinhee was feeling shy all of a sudden. "What's this? Is Jinhee being shy?"

Sarang blurted out and that didn't help because Jinhee's face became red. "Wait a minute she is!" Oo's were going around except for Taehyung and Jungkook who were surprised. "Jinhee~" They went up to her again but before they could get another hug Namjoon and Jin pulled them to the side. "Come here you two, you guys need to learn something."

"Wait Namjoon, Jin. Let me tell them okay?" Jinhee said and they agreed. "But I'm not telling you now! I will soon. Just give me time okay?"

Lunch time came and everyone was gathered again. Jinhee sat with Sarang and LJ then Yoongi came up and sat with them. "Oh hey Yoongi. What's up?" LJ asked and he silently shrugged as he ate his lunch.

"Okay then...so Jinhee did you want to go?" Jinhee stopped listening as soon as Yoongi sat down, she couldn't take her eyes off him. Not in a checking out way but a figuring out way. She wanted to know how she felt and even more so, how he felt about her.

"Jinhee!" Sarang yelled in her ear catching her by surprise causing her to throw her lunch in the air. "Sarang! Why did you do that?" 

They were all laughing, "I'm sorry but LJ and I kept calling you but you wouldn't answer," Jinhee sighed and cleaned up her lunch to throw away. "Here, you can have the rest of mine." She turned around to see Yoongi there holding out his half eaten lunch.

"Yoongi you eat it. It's yours,"

"No I insist. I'm not going to sit aside and let you starve,"

"Okay then...thank you,"

"Of course," He then left but to sit at the piano instead of joining the others. Jinhee sat down again and both Sarang and LJ were giving her a look. "What?"

"What?" They mocked her. "Jinhee when are you going to confess to him?"

"When I know he likes me...I may not look like it but I don't do rejection well."

"Seriously girl. Well you better handle it soon. We're not going to sit aside and watch you act like this because you can't girl up."

"Okay okay I get it Sarang."

"Plus, he's your best friend. You're already not acting normal so it's giving off signs that's something up between you two. Yoongi acts the same but you act different. Either you tell him what's up or we do."

After school, everyone was saying their goodbye's but Sarang and LJ were making a plan. So they pushed Jinhee who happened to stand in front of Yoongi, and they bumped into each other causing Jinhee to fall on top of him. "Yoongi I'm so sorry! They pushed me for no reason," 

"It's okay..." She stayed there staring at Yoongi and he did the same, then someone cleared their throat and the two realized what position they were in. "Oh um let me get up now." Namjoon helped her up and Jimin helped Yoongi up. Hoseok eyed the two of them who were blushing red and looked over at Sarang and LJ who were giving signals. Picking up on what they're saying, Hoseok played along. 

"Jinhee seems like you wanted Yoongi in a different way, you could've just said so. Let's go guys!" 

"What Hoseok! No it's not like that," But before she could finish everyone left the two alone.

"Well come on then,"

"Where are we going?"

"To the mall of course." Jinhee followed quietly behind Yoongi who noticed but didn't want to pressure her to walk beside him.

They made it to the mall and they've gone there enough that they did the usual things. After awhile it was as if things were back to normal between them, just joking around and having fun. Enjoying each other's presence.

"You're smiling now, I'm glad."

"What do you mean?"

"Well ever since that night you've been avoiding me or something. I didn't know the kiss affected you that much so I'm sorry."

"No Yoongi it's not your fault..."I don't want him to misunderstand but am I ready to tell him?  "It's my fault. I just didn't know what that meant. The kiss I mean."

"Well Jinhee, I decided to kiss you because I felt like it was the right thing to do. I don't feel bad for doing it. But I like you,"

"Really?"

"Yeah, I've liked for awhile but I never told you because I could see our friendship was more important and I didn't want that to mess up. But then when I gave you that kiss I saw how it affected you and it got me thinking if I really did do the right thing."

"Yoongi you did...I actually have to confess something too,"

He eagerly straightened his body to show he's listening, "I like you too, not for awhile because I just found out recently but yeah."

"So is that why you were affected by the kiss so much? Because you were trying to figure out how you feel and I guess, how I feel?

"Yeah. I really was,"

"You could've just asked me."

"I know but this is different. It's not like me asking you to go hang out or something, it's about feelings towards one another."

"Yeah I guess you're right,"

"So what now?" 

"Well Jinhee, I think it's time you and I both go on a proper date. What do you say?"

Jinhee smiled, "I'd like that. A lot,"
