A New Life (Complete)

Twenty Six

Jinhee woke up late this morning with a pounding headache. She wasn't feeling well and not sure why. She then proceeded with a shower and freshening up. She felt a little better but not enough. On her way to school she felt worse but she made it.

"Jinhee you're finally here!" Taehyung yelled out and Jinhee nodded her head. She felt like she would pass out any minute.

"You don't look so good. Are you okay?" Sarang asked and she then felt Jinhee's forehead. "You're burning up! Why did you come to school?"

"Because I have a test today,"

"What? There's no test today because at least one of us or more have classes with you." LJ said and they all agreed. "Oh okay. Well then I'm going home," She tried to stand but she fell down because her legs were weak. "Jinhee!" They all yelled and the first one to grab her was Namjoon. 

"Thanks Namjoon." 

"Here I'll take her to the nurse's office." Yoongi said but Namjoon declined it. "It's okay hyung I'll take her." Yoongi wanted to follow but Jin held him back.

Jinhee woke up in the nurse's office. Looking around she saw Namjoon sleeping in the chair. She sat up slowly and accidentally woke him up. "Jinhee you're awake. Are you okay?"

"Yeah I just felt really tired. What happened?"

"Well I took you here after you almost passed out. But once you got here and laid down, you went to sleep." 

"Oh, well thank you for taking me here. I'm going home then," 

"Wait the nurse has to check on you again to make sure you can. I'll go get her."

"Okay,"

As she waited someone else came in the room, "Jinhee," 

"Yoongi!" 

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah I am...you didn't have to check on me,"

"Well I had to make sure you're okay. But what happened for you to get sick overnight?"

"I think it's because I fell asleep with wet hair and I had a window open, on top of that I didn't sleep with a blanket."

"Well I didn't know you were that tired yesterday, we didn't even do anything."

"I know I know...I think it's just cause of what happened."

"I'm sorry,"

"Huh?"

"I didn't mean to catch you by surprise...I meant to do it earlier but I chickened out and so that's why I did it then and there."

"It's okay Yoongi...but why though? You've never done it before so why now?"

"I don't know..."

On the other side of the door, Namjoon was listening to everything between the two. He knew there was no chance for him with Jinhee but he had hoped. After a few minutes, Namjoon went inside with the nurse.

"Oh hyung you're here."

"Yeah I had to check on my best friend you know," 

"Okay Jinhee let me check your temperature. If you can just wait outside she'd be out in a bit." The nurse said and the two friends waited outside. 

"You know you have really great friends. And I can tell they both like you,"

Jinhee gave her a puzzled look, "You mean them? I mean one of them likes me but I don't know about the other one...no he doesn't, he's just a friend."
