chapter 3

albert POV

sky has been with us for a few weeks now almost a month and she is doing great in school. she came home the first day and she said that she loved it.Its 6:30 am i just got out my shower and dressed in my suit, i go downstairs and put on a pot of coffee and then i get a call. i look at it and its my mom i answer

"hello"

"hey Al how are you?"

"im good mom how are you?"

"im okay i guess"

"whats up mom?"

"its just Jess she is getting into so much trouble"

"like what mom?"

"well this last month she was arrested for shoplifting then she was caught smoking at school and she is pushing me around and with your ad gone now, she just doesn't listen. she stays out all night and comes home at 3 am smelling of alcohol and illegal substances. she even tryed to push me down the stairs. grounding her doesn't work, taking her phone away doesnt work. i just dont know what to do"

"well, why dont you come over for dinner tonguth with her and ill talk to her okay mom, you need to relax. how is your heart have you had any problems?"

"well kinda your sister is making it harder for me every day i even had to go to the hospital a few times"

"well mom your health is the most important thing so if you need me to keep her heare to handle her that is fine we have an extra room."

"thanks sweetie your the best. she is suspended right now so should i pack some of her stuff"

"yes clothes everything, i dont like the way she is treating you. and mom i have a duaghter of my own now and i spank her when she is bad so that is what ill use on jess"

"thats fine hon, your dad used to spank you when you were young so why not, and when do i get to meet my grand daughter?"

"well you will see her tonight"

"that's great, oh hon can i buy her a gift?"

"sure mom but no electronic devices, were not buying her those yet, because she breaks stuff when she throws tantrums so dont buy something too expensive" just then sky walked in the kitchen in her pajamas. 

"oh mom i gotta go make breakfast for sky ill see you tonight"

"bye hon see you later"

i look at sky and say

"hi baby girl are you hungry?"

"yes dadd- i mean Albert"

"what would you like to eat my sweet daughter?"

"umm waffles" she smiles

"okay go set the table okay?"

"yes da- i mean Albert"

she goes to set the table. she almost called me daddy 2 times already. i go make the waffles and i sit her on one of the island chairs to watch me cook

"would you like some blueberries to go with your waffles?" i ask

"yes please dadd- i mean albert"

i look at her and say

"sweetie what did you try to call me?"

"umm daddy?"

"if you are ready you can call me that sweetie, you are my daughter"

"okay daddy can i have a glass of milk?"

"yes you can sweetie"

i hand her the glass of milk and she looks at me confused
