i decided to tell paul today about my new job since i have to leave in 2 weeks. i go to the kitchen where he is making dinner and say
"hey hon can we talk?"
"sure hon whats up?" he asks
"well you see i got this new job offer in Los Angeles, i will be the owner of the hospital and in the package i'm being given we will get a big house and all new furniture in it and we will both get our own office in the house the girls will get their own rooms and a big underground pool and great schools"
"hon i don't know i will have to find a job and what will the girls think?"
"hon i need to tell them today weather i take the job or not, i am taking the job weather you come or not"
"okay we will go but, i need to find a job as a teacher there"
"yea and if the girls aren't in the same school with you that's fine"
"yea it will give them independence"
we call the girls down for dinner and eat as they are ready to go i stop them and say
"girl paul and i need to talk to you about some things"
"yes, daddy. yes, papa?"
"well girls we are moving to Los Angeles in 2 weeks"
"what no all my friends are here" Jess raises her voice
"i'm OK with moving i don't have friends here anyway"
"ya well that's because you are a brat" Jess says to sky
"no i'm not you big meanie" sky yells
"girls stop that right now"
"we are leaving in 2 weeks so i suggest you pack the stuff you are bringing with you, you are both getting new rooms and furniture so no need to worry about that" Paul says
***the next day***
Paul and i are going out on a date tonight we are going to see a movie and a romantic dinner, Jess is going to babysit sky. i go in the living room to see the girls on the couch together watching Tarzan we say
"Jess here is some money for you to order a pizza but make sure sky gets to bed by 8 and you can stay up but not too late" i say handing her some money
"and no soda" Paul adds
"okay daddy we won't but cant i stay up until you come home so you can tuck me in and kiss me goodnight?"
"no sweetie we will be home too late, i want you to be in bed by 8 and if you don't behave for Jess she will call us" Paul says
"but papa that's not fair 8:00 is really early bedtime im 8 now" she whines
"young lady, you will stop that whining right this minute" i scold
"fine"
we leave and dead for the restaurant
skylar POV
we ate our pizza and watched Tarzan, its 8:00 now but i'm not tired and daddy or papa isn't home so i'm staying up. i go to put another movie on but jes says
"no sky its bedtime now, go put your pajamas on and ill come in to say goodnight"
"no im not going to bed"
"yes you are, you heard what paul said you need to go to bed"
"well hes not here so im not"
"yes you are"
