Bellamy rushed back into the room where he had left Dakota just five minutes ago. Dakota wiped her tears from her face when the door opened abruptly and made her jump in surprise. Some sort of relief washed over her knowing that it was only Bellamy, but that small smile she had planted on her face quickly turned into a frown when he had grabbed a hold of her arm roughly and unlocked her hand from the cuffs.
Bellamy grabbed her and started to drag her out of the room and down the hallway, along with another guard beside her. "Pike should be in his quarters," the guard said.
"Bellamy, you don't have to do this," Dakota begged as she struggled to get her arm free, but it only made Bellamy tug on her harder.
"Yes, I do."
"Just let me go! Bellamy, when you bring me in there like this, he'll kill me." Dakota panicked, knowing that she looked full on Grounder and not Dakota Kane.
"Believe it or not, I'm doing this for your own good."
"Believe it or not, I'm doing this for your own good." A voice came from in front of Bellamy and Dakota.
Octavia appeared from the corner and kicked the guard that was in front of them to his knees. Octavia grabbed hold of his head and sent a knee into his jaw, knocking him out cold.
"You can't just hit a guard." Bellamy yanked Dakota behind him as he yelled down at his younger sister.
"I just did. Let her go," Octavia demanded furiously.
"I can't do that," he said as he pulled Dakota away from Octavia.
Guard's voices could be heard coming down the hall from behind us. "You should go," He said.
Dakota mentally cursed herself for the thought of even doing the next thing, but they didn't have time to think this over. She quickly kicked her foot into the back of Bellamy's knee, making him kneel down in pain.
"I have pledged myself into the loyalty of King Roan of Azgeda. I hope you know that the war you are fighting, You'll be going against me." Dakota said as she knocked her thigh into the back of Bellamy's head, sending him to the ground. She quickly searched for the keys off of his coat.
"Kota, hurry up!" Octavia had yelled from beside her, panic rising in her voice as guards were right around the corner.
The guards both caught sight of the two girls and started to pick the pace, "Get them on deck two!"
"Let's go. Follow me," Octavia said quickly and they both started running down the hallway until they reached a doorway that was covered in a thin strips of plastic, covering the doorway.
As soon as they made it past the doorway, Dakota saw her father opening a piece of metal from the wall, revealing a secret entrance. "Dad." She smiled as she ran into her father's opened arms, "We know what happened, we know what Pike did. Is there anything we can do to prevent retaliation?" Abby asked as Dakota pulled away from her father.
