As Ralof and I sat in the Bee and Barb, we got the whole place singing a tune that was known throughout the Rift. Ralof was sitting there smiling like a dog as I led the song, and motioned towards the bard in the corner to keep playing occasionally.

When the song ended, I raised my tankard and said a sentence or two that could've gotten me killed if I was in Solitude or such. "For the Stormcloak army! Skyrim belongs to the Nords!" and every other Stormcloak in the hall raised their meads with me.

"Say, Y/n. I have a more...personal question to ask you if you don't mind." Ralof said as he and I were walking back to Riverwood. "Ask away. I'm an open book." I said and smiled at him. "With the men and women you kill...does it every haunt you? It does me, and I hear it gets easier over time, but I don't know if that's exactly a good things..." Ralof asked me, and I stopped, then continued walking. "Only beasts, monsters, could kill and have it not haunt them. I, sadly, feel I am one of those beasts. But, it does not mean you are weak if it does haunt you. It just goes to show that you have a heart and can feel guilt and remorse. What kind of man would you be if you couldn't?" I said, and he gave me only a weak smile. "Thanks for the...somewhat consultation, Y/n. I appreciate it. A lot."

"Anything for a fellow Stormcloak. Especially one that has saved my ass multiple times, especially when I was, ya know, about to have my head removed from my neck," I said, and clapped him one the back.

"Well, c'mon. I can see Riverwood. I bet your sister misses you, Ralof."

"Yeah, let's go. I bet she does."
