Elena came down this morning and told me to come with her. So know I'm with Alaric and Elena under the Lockwood property in a cave. Alric was in front and Elean was at the end. "So the Lockwoods really have no idea that these tunnels are underneath their property?" Elena asked.
"Yea. Careful where you shine that thing. Bats hate the light." Alric told us.
"Wait. What?" Elena panicked, I turned to her.
"Elena." Someone whispered. She whipped around. "Boo!" Damon was the source of the noice.
"God, Damon."
"Scardy cat." Damon teased.
"Just ignore him." Alaric told her.
"That's what I do." I told them and Damon mocked laugh.
"So you really can't get in?" Elena asked.
"No. Seems even the ancient Lockwood were anti-vampire." He said walking past her.
"What do you mean, ancient?" I asked.
"See for yourself." He told me. "Well this is as far as Calamity and I get to go." I sighed out annoyed and Alric and Elena walked past us. Damon leant against the wall and I followed sliding down till I could slightly see in.
"What is all this?" Elena asked.
"Well as far as I could tell, it's a story. In simple archaeological terms, it's a really, really old story. That right there is a moon cycle. A man. A wolf."
"A werewolf." I said.
"Yeah. It's the Lockwood Diaries, pictionary style."
"I don't understand," Elena told them. "I thought the Lockwoods came here with the original founders in the 1860s."
"Ah, maybe the Lockwoods did, but according to this wall, these werewolves have been here a lot longer than that."
"How long?" I asked Alaric.
"Long." Damon answered. "Gets better show her, Ric."
"Names and they're not native," Alaric said flashing the light onto a part where I could just see. "They're written in Runic, a Viking script.
"Vikings?" Elena asked.
"This name here, when translated it reads... Niklaus." I widened my eyes.
"Klaus."
"And Elijah... and Rebekah." I tried wrapping my mind around this.
"These are the names of the Original family?" Elena asked.
"Carved into a cave that's... that's been here since way before the founding of Mystic Falls or even the entire new world, for that matter."
"Ok, this has gotta be one of Klaus' fakes."
"That's what I said." Damon added.
"That could be true, except the last name up here made us think otherwise."
"What's the name?" I asked them.
"Mikael." My eyes widened and my stomach dropped.
"Mikael?" I asked frightened.
"As in the vampire hunter who knows how to kill Klaus?" Elena asked.
"Yep." Damon said. "And I like to call him Papa original."
"This- Mikael." I started panicking. "No, no, no, no!" I screamed. They looked at me shocked.
"Cal?" Damon asked worried and courtious. "You ok?" I shook my head repeatedly.
"No. Mikael. He, He. Mikael." I tried wrapping my head around this. "You can't.."
"Calamity." Elena said I looked around.
"I need- I can't." I zoomed away from them hearing them call my name. I zoomed all the way back to the Boarding House and went to my room.
A couple hours later I stormed down the stairs to see a blonde on the couch in the parlour. "Who are you?" I snapped. The woman turned around and my eyes widened. "Rebekah?" She smiled at me.
"Calamity." I rushed over to her and engulfed her in a hug.
"I missed you so much." I told her. She wrapped her arms around me.
"Well, we haven't seen each other since the 20's." I looked at her confused.
"The 20's?" She looked at me annoyed.
"He wiped your mind as well."
"Who?"
"Klaus."
"Klaus? I haven't seen him since the 1700's."
"No, actually. Chicago in the 1920's." I sighed.
"Did he really?" She nodded her head at me. I let out an aggravated noise.
"It's great to see you again."
"You too. Where's Klaus?"
"He left me here." She told me. I rolled my eyes.
"They know about Mikael."
"I know. Elena is coming soon to talk about everything."
"They can't bring him back." I told her panicking.
"I know." She sighed out.

I was now with Rebekah and it's been a while since Elena left. Rebekah filled a glass of bourbon and one for me passing it to me when Elena walked in holding something. "I thought I told you to leave?" Rebekah said. "Twice."
"How do you know that Mikael killed your mother?" Elena asked.
"Nik was there. He told me." Elena shook her head and came over to us.
"He lied to you."
"And how do you know that?" I asked her.
"The cave where you carved your family's names, is covered in symbols, stories of your family, how your parents arrived." Elena placed down a picture of a carving. "How they made peace." She placed another. "The spell that turned them into vampires," She placed another. "And this." She placed the last one down. "This is the symbol for hybrid. It's the combination of the werewolf and the vampire symbol. And this is the one for your mother." Elena placed down another.
"Her necklace." Rebekah said.
"And this is the story of her death." She placed down the last one and I scanned it. "The hybrid killed the original witch. Not Mikael, Klaus." I covered my mouth with my hand.
"No. No, he wouldn't." Rebekah said angered.
"She put the curse on him, made it so he would be the only one of his kind and then she rejected him. With the werewolf gene comes aggression and violence. When he turned all of that was heightened. He killed her, Rebekah, and then he made up this entire lie about your father so that he wouldn't lose you."
"These mean nothing. They're just stupid drawings." She picked them up and headed for the fireplace. "Done by stupid people who had no idea who my family was!" She threw the pictures into the fireplace destroying them.
"Then why are you so upset?" Elena pushed.
"Why are you doing this to me? I've done nothing to you."
"Klaus killed your mother. He has a hold on you, on me, on everyone." She said getting in her face. "He has for a thousand years. We have to make it stop!" Rebekah pulled over and grabbed Elena by the throat pushing her against a wall.
"Shut up! Just shut up!" I zoomed over to them ready to pull them away. "Don't talk anymore! Nothing!" A couple seconds later Rebekah let go. She stumbled back and she started crying collapsing onto the ground. I rushed over and pulled her into a hug.
"Leave." I told her angered. "You've done enough, leave." After that, she walked away. I cuddled Rebekah and laid her head on my lap, combing my fingers through her hair, letting her cry.
