Izazya's POV
All the way through the movie, Joe was curled up in a tight ball, his head against my chest, hiding his face as if it were to save his life. I couldn't help but laugh, and whenever I did he smacked me in the chest as hard as he could with his fist. I was going to have bruises. I looked at him every so often throughout the 'scary' movie, and had to admit, he did look cute when he was scared. In the end, I ended up pulling him to his feet and walking out of the cinema - the movie wasn't worth my money. We walked out of the cinema and onto the streets, Joe ignoring me, as he did when he was pissed off.
"Joe, I'm sorry." I apologized. "I shouldn't have taken you to that movie."
"Should of thought of that before then, shouldn't you?" he retauted angrily, folding his arms across his chest as he crossed the road. I sighed heavily, watching him make it to the middle of the road before an oncoming car almost squished him into a pancake.
"I'll take you for something to eat and pay, as an apology!" I yelled over the roar of cars. That got his attention. Once the road was clear, he scurried back to me, walking up to me slowly.
"I guess you could try that," he said thoughtfully. "It could work." I nodded and so did I. With that, I grabbed him by the arm and dragged him down the streets, knowing exactly where I was going. A small diner, not very far from here and never really busy, apart from the odd few.
When we got there, I opened the door for Joe, who was looking inside tentively. He brushed past me and cautiously stepped into the diner, as if there were someone inside who was going to kill him.
"Joe, it's perfectly safe, no need to be so weird." I said sarcastically in a quiet voice. He glared at me. If looks could kill, I would have just died... For the seven-thousandth time since I'd met Joe.
Joe's POV
He pouted at me whilst I threw a glare at him. I may have looked rather calm on the outside, but he'd died three times already in my mind. I rolled my eyes at him and grabbed his arm, pulling him inside beside me. To be honest, I was nervous; as I always was when it came to new places. Especially since me and Izazya were 'Undercover Lovers', as he liked to call it. he was immature in more ways than he was mature. I felt him entwine our fingers and felt my eyes widen considerably whilst I looked at him. he was wearing that I don't give a shit face; and I knew he'd kick the shit out of anyone who said anything.
"What happened to being 'Undercover Lovers'?" I asked sarcastically. He looked at me with a smirk.
"That was so last week, Joe. Get with the trends!" he answered enthusiatically; using the same sarcastic tone I used. I had the urge to hit him, but I didn't. Instead, I curled my fingers inwards, digging my slightly sharp nails into his hand, making him hiss in pain. I smirked, looking up at him innocently.
"Let's go get a table!" I grinned, dragging him into the diner, subconsiquently adding more pressure to his hand, making him yelp quietly. I'd probably get shit for this later, but he'd just made me sit through an hour of a horror movie before he got bored.
I sat down at an empty seat and Izazya looked at me.
"So, what do you want?" he asked. I shrugged, mouthing the words surpise me. He smirked and wandered off to go order our food. I settled into my chair and stared out of the window, watching as cars drove past on the streets and the sun rose higher into the cloudless sky.
It seemed like forever until I was pulled out of a daydream by the screetching of an unfriendly familiar voice.
"Oh my God!" she screamed, "you're that guy!" I turned my head, to see the blonde who wore too much make up, the one who had previously dragged me down a corridor and given me a concussion. She was wearing a bright pink shirt and a pair of outrageously short and tight denim shorts, with a pair of fishnet stockings and a pair of converse. I raised my eyebrow slightly, looking at her jock of a boyfriend who was stood next to her, tensed. I looked back at her.
