Chapter 29

Pastor Unini and Adanna arrived her home on a bright Sunday evening. The conference was powerful and too lit. She experienced God there in another dimension. An assurance that He had settled her, a peace surpassing human comprehension.

Adanna took a deep breath as she exited the car. Her parents weren't expecting her so there were in for a huge surprise, the question was it good or bad?

The weather was bright but not sunny, cool and very refreshing. A wave of breeze blew the leaves and they fluttered as if welcoming her home. A little butterfly also flew past her and circled back to her. She wasn't scared, she took a quick glace at their neighbor's compound to check if she would see Derek but he wasn't there.

I trust you Lord to take control. Adanna whispered as Pastor Unini held her hand and rang the door bell.

Mrs. Enenaya heard the door bell and came to check who it was; it was Pastor Unini in the flesh.

"Good evening Pastor, what a surprise to...." She said as she opened the door and paused when she sighted Adanna.

"oh" She gasped. "Adanna" she blinked to be certain.

"Yes mum, it's me" She nodded.

Mrs. Enenaya took quick rapid steps and hugged her daughter so tight. "oh its really you. Thank you Jesus" She said out loud

A huge wash of relief and shock overwhelmed Adanna as she thought indeed God was not a man that he should lie"

"I am so sorryyyy" she cried out still hugging her daughter.

"Its okay mum, I forgive you and I am sorry too." Adanna replied.

"God is good". Pastor Unini said out loud.

"yes he is "they both said.

"oh God, I missed you so much." Her mother said again.

"Let us all go inside." Pastor Said.

"Oh yes sorry", Mrs. Eneanya said.

"Where is Daddy?" Adanna asked.

"He is sleeping in the room. Let me fetch him."

"No no mum I will go to him." Adaana said and left.

When Adanna got to her dad's bed side, she hugged him without saying a word until her father opened his eyes slowly and turned to face her.

"Adanna" he blurted as he jerked and sat upright.

"yes dad it is me. I'm back and I am so sorry dad"

"shhh, no baby all that matters is you are back" Her father said as he hugged her "I knew you would come back. Thank you Jesus"

"They both sobbed and hugged each other then he asked "have you seen your mother?

"yes dad. She's in the sitting room with Pastor Unini"

"Pastor Unini?"

"yes she found me and brought me home."

"oh thank God." He commented as she stood up and held her hand to the sitting room

The threesome hugged one another and Pastor Unini finally joined in the hug. They all thanked God then She prayed with them briefly and left.

"It is good to have you home" her mother stated joyfully.

"It is good to be home mum and dad. Oh how I have missed you so much" Adanna said
