OK I feel bad....
Really bad.
Something is happening.

I am hearing voices I think.
Yes, I know...

It's normal that you hear voices when you think or talk in your head, mentally.
But this time it seems 'someone' is responding.
And these are definitely NOT my thoughts.

As if it's not enough... My eyes hurt so badly.
They feel like they are burning from inside out.
I eye myself in the mirror after cooling my face with water.

This pain began two hours ago.
At the beginning it felt like something flew in my eye and with every minute the burning feeling worsened.

I was about to enter the class room where the next lesson should begin.
But then I heard a voice in my head which said:

"Hey. What's up?"

I was about to freak out.
So I ran out of class.

I look at the clock.

"I am like 10 minutes in the bathroom. Ugh."

"I honestly never thought you would be such a wimp."

I stare at the mirror in front of me.

"Not again..."

My hands start shaking.

I hear how the strange female voice begins to chuckle.

"I am not even the climax of the progress. Or shall I say of your transformation? Anyway stop whining."

"What?! What progress? Transformation? I am going crazy! Is it that what Feycal talked about? It is that how the people get crazy? What..."

"Oh, you won't shut up? I will make you then."

"Aah!"
My eyes begin to burn again but this time even worse.
It feels like they are getting stabbed.

As I stare at the mirror, my eyes widen in realization.
However, what surprises me is not the way my face becomes paler.
No, not at all.
It is my eyes which are watering steadily.
They are changing colours!

I only see the changes with blurred vision due to the high amount of tears streaming down my cheeks.

My once dark brown eyes are now darkening and eventually changing into a deep blood red.
It does not stop there, it moreover darkens and turns black. I look in the mirror and find myself staring at my eye's iris which are now two black holes that seem like an endless void.
And in between those deathly black holes there seem to be a hint of red. I guess no one can hide it's true colour.

"Wh-...?"
Unable to speak I just let out a whine.

Still shaking in pain I look at my eyes closely.

Then suddenly it changes and the deeply hidden colour shows off.
At first sight it looks like the iris's colour is black but with a closer look you can see the true colour.

When light fall on them, my eyes glow a brilliant deep violet.

"Well then... Say good bye to your 'normal' life."

"What...?"

I begin to shake worse.
Not just because of fear and confusion.
No.
But because of the raising pain in my whole body.
Especially chest and eyes.

Also is my view very blurred.
My eyes are tearing all the time and the burning feeling keeps on rising.
I can just detect the different colours in the room but that's it.

As I try to focus I hear how the door is slammed open.

"River! We have to go, quick!"

"Logan... I am so tired"
I just want to cry, but I am too exhausted to make a sound or even breathe.

When I turn around I got really dizzy and feel how my body's temperature rises immediately before I loose my balance and fall to my knees.

"River!"
I hear how Logan runs and catches me before I hit the ground.

Before I got unconscious I just managed to whisper:

"What's-..."

"Good night sleepy head."
