Author's note: Sorry, this one's a bit short.
I ran all the way back to Ilva's house.
"Ilva, you have to run!" I say, bursting through the stain glass door. She barely glances up at me, and then drawls, "Oh look, the bunny's back. What have you gone and blabbed now?"
"Oh. That." I'd completely forgotten that I'd escaped her house whilst going to the government. Of course, she was mad. She didn't look that angry though. She smiled at her coffee as she moved over to me.
"Due to you making sure that everyone in Central Southwick knew where I lived, I decided that we're moving lodgings. I've already phoned Arbor. I'm going to pack. I suggest you do the same."
"Wait, hang-Ilva, wait!" I say after her, "Who is Arbor? And how did you know that I'd told the government where you lived and changed my mind, and not gone for a moonlit swim?"
She stopped at the bottom of the stairs, and turned to face me.
"Arbor isn't his real name, it's Milo. He's a mutual friend of mine, another assassin. You might have heard of him, but I doubt it. He's only just a professional. As for the other thing, I'm only the world's most famous assassin, and news spreads as quickly as a shadow, of course I'd know. And you're not exactly the type of person to go for a moonlit swim, are you?"Leaving me on that baffling, but very true statement, she went to pack.
