Oh and I noticed that in the description of the story it says that her parents get a divorce not dies, so I changed it.

Lucy(POV)

As soon as we got out of the airport I called my mom. " Mom?"

"Hey sweetie" she replied why sniffing, she's been crying and I wasn't here to comfort her. I shake way my thought because I know that they would only get me more depressed than I already am and not going to help anyone.
"Hey mom, I was just wandering if you could come pick us up from the airport."
"Us?" She asks as if she misheard me.
"Yeah, us, I brought a friend, well more like he followed me here, saying he would be moral support." I say glancing at Jace who was smirking at me.
"Him?"my mom asks. I roll my eyes even though she can't see me.

I can't believe that with all I just said she just heard the two words 'friend ' and 'him' .

I must've said that out loud because my mom chuckles in the other end of the line and Jace is just full out laughing, not caring about the people who are giving him weird looks.

I shake my head at him and continue to talk to my mom. After explaining the situation to her she agreed to pick us up but I had to tell her about the fight I got in with my whore of a sister, Hailee.  My words not hers.

In the car...

"So Jace, right?" My mom questions. Oh no here comes the interrogation. My mom watches a lot of csi and other police movies, so now she thinks she knows how to question someone like they were talking to the police. Sometimes it's hilarious but sometimes she so scary that if you don't know her you'd pee your pants. Believe me, it happened before,when I introduced my parents to my best friend Spike, he was gay, but of course my mom thought differently and didn't want anything to happen to her innocent daughter and so she interrogated him. While she was questioning him he peed his pants. You can't blame him though, she did get pretty intense.

I smile at the thought. Oh how much I miss Spikey Wikey. He was one of my best friends. I was popular, not bitchy popular though, and honestly I didn't really care about popularity. My sister was the total opposite of me she was shy and innocent. I was innocent too, until I met West.

I loved him, he took my virginity, which made my heart break even more, if that was even possible.  I loved my sister, that was until now. That bitch is dead to me. She betrayed me, something I never thought she of all people would do.

Shaking those thoughts out of my head I started to think about Spike. I wonder where he is and what he's up to lately.

"Yes ma'am" Jace replied, taking me out of my thoughts.
"Oh please don't call me that, your making me feel old, call me Lizz"

Jace nodded and chuckled but didn't say anything, just kept his thoughts to himself.

He's lucky, my mom rarely likes many guy that comes within three feet of me, I smile at the thought of my mother liking Jace.

For the rest of the ride my mom questions about my sister. I tell her what happened, telling her the whole story, but leaving the part out about illegal, underground fighting. My mom would flip, my dad however would just ask me who won the fight and to make sure to be careful. I miss him, I can't believe he's gone, really gone.

I didn't know I was crying until Jace asked me if I was alright. Nodding I wipe my tears angry with myself for crying in front of my mom. She must be going through so much and I'm here crying. I mentally scold myself, telling me not to cry in front her again.

When we reach to my house we see the fucker(West) and his bitch(my sister). Since I've already told my story to mom, as soon as she get out of the car she screams at West to get off of her property.

Jace looks genuinely confused, until I explain who the guy is. His eyes instantly turn dark and within seconds he is dragging me out of the car leaving no room for objections.

Once we're out of the car he puts his arm around my waist and pulls me closer to him. "Jace, what are you doing?" I ask confused by his actions.

"Making a statement" is the only thing he says before nodding in West's direction. I look to see West looking like he wants to kill Jace.

My sister and my mom are screaming at each other.i can't hear everything but I catch pieces of their argument:

Mom : How could you bring him here?

Whore(my sis): Who West? He's here because he loves me and wants to support me through this rough time.

Mom: I can't believe you'd do that to your sister!

Whore: That's all you care about isn't it! You do not care about me! You just care about her, you always have!

Mom: of course I care about her she's my daughter and so are you! I care about both of you , I just can't believe what you did!

Whore: He loves me!

Mom: Yeah, and that's why he's looking at your sister and not you right!

Before my mother could say anything i heard a high pitch sound , it took me a moment register what my sister had just done. She had slapped my mother. My mom's head whipped to the right while falling from the slaps impact.

At that moment all I saw was red.
How dare she slap our mother, my mother.

I ran to my mom with a worried expression on my face. Once she assured me she was okay, I turned to my sister,

"How dare you!" I screamed. Her mouth opened to say something but before she could I slapped her so hard that my whole right arm was left tingling. She fell to the ground, clutching her cheek and looking at me with wide eyes.

I then stopped down so that we were both at the same eye level and and whispers "The next time you lay a hand on anyone I love like that again I will kill you."  Even though my voice was a whisper I made sure it sounded deadly.

By now she was shaking in fear, like she should be. I turned to see Jace helping my mom up from off the ground. Although she told me she was fine I could see a bruise forming on her cheek. The sight made my blood boil once more, so I turned to my sister and said " I suggest you leave and find somewhere else to stay before I lose my self control and kill you right now."  She could tell I was serious because within the first five minutes she was gone.
