Chapter 9

Nickolas's P.O.V

"Nickolas you need to put this necklace on!" I think his name was Matthew told me.

"Why did she leave?" I asked looking him straight in the eye

" Because  she needed to cool off." hunter said.

"Oh. Why does she care so much about you anyways?" I tried not to sound rude but it was my wolf he was getting angry because out mate liked this wolf more than she liked us.

" Because i'm her brother, and she just got reunided with three years ago. after living with a foster family that a abused her all the time, so since then she has always be over protective of me and our uncle." he said pointing to the man i presumed to be their uncle, Matthew. "Also she considers these three her family too, and if anything happens to them she would be heart broken so yeah she's over protective of us all. As we are her," he explained

"Oh." was all i could say

" Yeah now could you please put the necklace on, while Shay here goes and gets Melissa?" Mathew said while pointing to shay.

"Okay" me and Shay said at the same time. I went to grab the necklace form Mathew and put it around my neck. Once it touched my chest  i was knocked out.

I soon woke up in a dim lit hallway. I looked down to see that i was wearing a white suit. I stood up and I could hear someone or something singing. I walked to were I thought the sound was coming from, which was at the end of the hallway where there was a bright light. Was i dead? I thought to myself. Right after I thought that the singing stopped and was replaced with laughing. 

" Nickolas, your not dead." the voice spoke, it was the most heavenly voice  have ever heard. Once I walked into the light I was met by a stunning woman in a floor length white gown.

" Where am I then?" i asked looking at this beautiful woman. The last thing i remember was a meeting at the bosses house.  

" Your in the Moon Goddeses realm. You were sent here from that necklace." she said pointing towards the necklace I wore. Where did this necklace come from?

"From Melissa of course!" she said. Who is Melissa?

"you were just with her, were you not?" she asked. thinking back, I don't remember a Melissa. 

"this is some sick joke! I dont know a Melissa!" I exclaimed. She looked confused. She walked up to me and put the pads of her thumbs on my temples while her other fingers were cupping the back of my head.  After a few seconds it felt as if there was a soft breeze floating through my mind. it only took her a few moments before she stood back and i could see her face was ashen. 

"Nickolas what is the last thing you remember?" she asked

"Going to a meeting at this house for this guy i was working with on the side." i said, it was all very fuzzy but thats what was the most clear. 

"Listen, its been 3 months since then. You've been stuck inside your head for three months. This person seems to have put a spell on you to where your trapped but this evil dark and twisted side of you is on the surface." she said. 

"you still have your wolf correct?" she asked

"Yes." 

"good, I can shine some light onto your wolf to where you will be able to see whats going on and talk to your wolf, but i'm afraid thats all i can do for you! this person who put this spell on you is strong."

"We don't have much time and I still need to explain you somethings." the mood goddess said

" Theres gonna be an upcoming war that your pack is envovled in." she asked raiding an eyebrow

" yeah, but what does that have to do with me?" i asked seriously confused

" Well Nickolas the only way this can be stopped is by Melissa." she said. Melissa. That girls name agai;j n. 

" now im gonna put another visit on this necklace. and you need to give it to melissa and tell her i wish to see her again." she stated while touching the necklace and sending me back to realit 'y.;∆......∆j;j;j;/\

j j;i woke up with a start to everyone back in the room. mel sitting on the side of my desk looking at he feet while they swing back and forth. she looked at me with a small smile.

" looks who awake." she stated while staring at me straight in the eye. i stared right back and getting lost in her stromy gray eyes. i was snapped out of my daze by my lovely mates voice.

" hey! lover boy, so do you understand why were here now?" she asked

"  yeah, but she told me that you need to put it back on because she wants to talk to you again." i said handing over the necklace. 

"okay" she said dragging out the 'ay' in okay

Melissa's P.O.V

once the necklace hit the vally of my breasts i was out. i woke up what felt like minutes later back in that dimly lit halway, in a white knee lenth flowy dress. i stood up and walked towards the entrance where light was coming from. i stepped out to see the moon godess sitting there looking out into the sky.

"ahh melissa your here" she said while standing up and giving me a hug.

"yeah..why? i thought you already told me everything i need to know." i said while raising an eyebrow

 "i just found out more information." she said 

" well what is it. i mean it cant be anyworse then everyting already is." i said while looking around nervously

"melissa, its not that bad. matter infact its not bad at all." she said with the biggest smile on her face

"what?" i asked, my voice considerbly low.

"its your parents.its your time to see each other again. you and your brother." she said

this got me really excited because i havent seen them since that night uncle mathew picked me up and saved me. i was even more excited that my brother was gonna be able to go with me.

"really? i mean how are we both gonna see them?" i truely didnt know. did we have to sleep together?

"accutally yes, you two have to sleep together tonight" she said. and i knew what she meant, like in the same bed not actually with each other. i mean thats just nasty!!!! just the thought sends shivers down my spine, and not the good kind like with nickolas.

"umm...what am i supposed to do? you know with the whole nickolas thing? i mean i can tell i already love him, i just dont wanna get to attache and when the war comes around,what if he gets hurt? i dont want him to get hurt." i said in the smallest voice ive ever used before. she reached out and grabbed my chin so i could look at her.

"melissa, he wont get hurt. if you really wanna know, during the war he will be the one to be saving you! you need to open up to him. he will be the only one to break you. in a good way of course. but melissa he will be the best thing to ever happen to you. you dont wanna waste the best year of your life because your afraid?" she asked while raising an eyebrow

"im not afraid!" i crossed my arms over my chest in a very three year old childish way

"yeah. so whats letting this stop you?" she aske. and i know exactly what she trying to do.

" nothing." i said while looking at my feet

" good. now im gonna send you back and your gonna give nickolas a chance. okay?" she said. i just nodded. with that i was sent back to reality.
