Ava's POV:

I woke up in a strange room. It was 9: 47. My vision was fuzzy and I couldn't remember what happened last night. It didn't help that I had a headache. Slowly the memories started flowing back to me.

My boyfriend broke up with me at the club.

I was crying and walking down the sidewalk away from the club.

Some random guys picked me up and brought me to his house.

Shit. Did anything happen last night? I can't remember anything after walking into this guy's guest room.

I got up and looked in the mirror. I was still in my black dress from last night. My makeup was smeared. My hair looked like a bird was trying to make a nest. I was a mess.

I quietly left my room and snuck down the hall to the bathroom. I'm glad I remembered where it was. I locked the door behind me and turned around. There were a bunch of girl's clothes and necessities laying out! A post-it-note had been stuck to one of the shirts.

I didn't know what you'd like, so I bought a bunch of stuff you can use if you want. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want me to change you myself ;)

After inspecting the clothes, I picked a blue tank top and some black jeans. He even had gotten two different pairs of shoes! I chose the black high-top Converse.

I brushed my hair out and quickly brushed my teeth. Once I was done getting ready, I opened the door. His bedroom door was open, unlike before. I quietly shut the door behind me and walked into the kitchen where I found him. He was shirtless, but had some sweatpants on. His hair was still tousled. He was cooking breakfast. He didn't know I was there since I had creeped up.

"Hey." I said quietly. He jumped and turned around.

"Oh hey. You scared me!" He said. "I'm cooking breakfast. Do you want any?"

His chest was perfectly chiseled. His blue eyes were so beautiful, you could get lost in them. His hair was still messy, but in a cute way. I think I stared a little too long because he started waving his hand in front of me.

"Hello? I asked a question?" He said with a grin.

"Oh sorry. I spaced out." I could feel the redness on my cheeks start to spread and he started chuckling.

"I still need an answer." He said holding back a laugh.

"Oh yeah! Sure. Sorry." By now my cheeks were as red as a tomato.

"Don't worry about it." He said, turning back around. He put some scrambled eggs and bacon on two plates and sat them down at the table.

"Sit down." He said. I sat across from him.

"Um... did anything, happen, last night?" I asked, scared of the answer.

"No! Of course not! I would never take advantage of a girl like that!" He said in a surprised and a little hurt voice.

I didn't know how to respond to that, so I just silently ate my food. It was delicious! He must cook a lot, since he lives alone.

He was the first to break the silence.

"So... I see you used the clothes I set out for you."

"Yeah, thanks." I said.

"No problem. Hey, where are you gonna go after this?" He asked.

"I haven't really thought about that yet." I answered.

"Well, what about your parents?" He offered.

"Never in my life." She said, her eyes turning cold.

"Okay... well you could stay here?" He said. I thought about his offer.

"I mean, just until you can get enough money to rent an apartment or something." He said quickly.

"Okay, I guess I'll stay." I said. I had nowhere else I could go. Why shouldn't I take his offer? I would just stay until I could support myself. It wouldn't be permanent.

Right?
