America bursts into the room like a nutjob. "Hey, dudes and dudettes! Happy memorial day!" His large, cocky grin he usually had set in place had softened to a light smile. "Now, today is really important, and I'm sure that most of you know why. But, in case you don't.." He took in a deep breath.
"Today is for appreciating those who had served or fought for the military, Navy, etc. Either alive or not anymore, we still should take the time to appreciate those we know of like this. They are.. special to us, and we should all take some time to thank them for what they've done for this country. And anything else you are glad they've done for the world, just to toss that in.
"So please," the American continued with his smile staying soft, his voice light and airy, "go and thank someone in your family who has done something for this country, but probably most of all.." His eyes seemed edged with tears. "What they had probably done for YOU.." America's voice sounded cracked for a short moment.
He flinched as he heard the door that lead to the backyard open. "M-mr. America?" came Lithuania's timid voice. "Oh! There you are, sir..!" The American swiveled his head over to the Lithuanian man holding a tray with a cup placed on it.
"Oh, hey Lithuania!" he chirped, wiping his eyes quickly. "I have your tea, sir," Lithuania stated to America.
"Oh, thank you..!" He then turned to the viewers, smiling lightly before going up and gingerly taking the teacup. "Happy Memorial Day."
