For the explanation of the little song in the earlier chapter...
It was a melody Irene had sing with her first mate Vincent, the human she had fallen in love with as a pirate captain. They had their own night together, free from anything painful and aggravating in their lives. Just a simple night of love and appreciation for the both of them.
