I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm waking me up for work at 6am, i never knew that time existed until i started work. I got a job at one of my local coffee shops to get a bit of money before i finish University. I put on my uniform, done my makeup hair and cleaned my teeth which left 30 minutes until i left for work. I never have breakfast before work, i juts get it on my break because its free so why the fuck not, so i went on my phone to fill time

I checked my phone after messaging nobody, 8.47. Should've left 17 minutes ago. Oops? I couldn't be bothered to walk and there was no way i'd get there walking by 8:50 when my shift started so i ordered an uber.
I was a few hours into my shift and i started topping up the free cookie trays. We have a section where homeless or anyone really can go get some food and a hot drink for free because we believe its a simple necessity in life but not everyone has the access to. When one of the other works, Tom came over to me to say there was a customer asking for me. It was a quiet day as people were at work so i made my way through to the back of the shop pretty quickly.
"Hi, how can i help you?" i asked the man standing in front of the counter
"Well, you said you made some pretty boss coffee so i decided to check it out." he chucked "im Oli by the way"
"Well Oli, no one yet has beat my coffee" i smile "are you sitting in or taking out?"
"Can i take out please?" Oli asks
"Of course" i say writing the order on his paper cup so i don't forget while i heat up the water and milk. "So do you live in this area or?" i ask turning back around to face Oli again
"I live around 45 minutes away but i have meetings up here so i thought id get one of your famous coffees too" he winks as i pour his drink into the cup and put it on the counter in front of Oli. He reaches into his back pocket but i interrupt him "Its on the house."
"Thank you" he smiles and takes the coffee from in front of him and takes a glance at the 'order' i wrote on "i will, don't worry about that. See you around."

I watch as Oli walks out the door and heads to im assuming his meeting. As i turn back around and get back to work i feel my phone vibrate in my back pocket.

Unknown: Hi its Oli. This really is some 'boss ass' coffee x
Me: I told you 😉
Oli: So i was wondering if you want to go out some time maybe?
Me: I would love that
Oli: Great come to mine at 7pm tonight and dress nice x
