Today was the day Jess was looking forward too, her University graduation. You see, i say was because she couldn't wait. Looking forward to it for months. But then it all changed a week ago and it took one night for her dreams to end.
I arrived at the place it was being held and walked through corridor after corridor to be met with a hall full of the other graduates. After talking to each other and their families we were moved into another, larger hall full of chairs. I took my place on the assigned seat and waited for her name to be called.
"James Watson" the ceremony announcer called and he walked on stage to collect his certificate
"Jessica White" he announced and i got up from my seat and went to get her certificate for her
