Let's say you are just humbly collecting the fallen clippings of your favorite plant when you ACCIDENTALLY BUMP INTO ITS FRAGILE PLANT SELF AND A BILLION TINY LEAFLETS DROP DEAD ONTO THE FLOOR.
You wonder, "Why me? How did I cause this catastrophe?"
Well, truth is you didn't actually cause your plant to die a horrible plant death with a single touch, but you didn't just bump it either. Don't cry yet as I originally did when this happened! Talk to a local expert on succulents like I did and find out that some plants are just very fragile, and others are tough as rocks.

Seem to fall apart very easily if only nudged a bit too violently by their owner (me). Other plants are less fragile, like my friend here:
And this one:
And this baby:
All succulents are a bit fleshy and fragile though, so don't expect to be able to just throw them around and not snap a stem or two. If you do in fact snap a stem or have some extra clippings fall due to a terrible accident, try propagating them into MORE PLANTS! While you are waiting for your plants to multiply, instead of crying over the possibility of plant death, try looking at my beautiful flowers instead:
