Prince Harry and Louis are in Harry's carriage on their way to Gemma's kingdom. They're just leaving Princess Vanessa's castle - Harry's father told them to stop - and both boys breathe easier away from everyone. Harry's parents are in the carriage ahead of them.
"Are you excited to meet my sister?" Harry asks and Louis looks at him and smiles.
"Yes. I am also nervous. What if she does not like me?" Louis worries. Harry rolls his eyes and grabs Louis's hand. That has become a thing between them.
Louis has now been working for a week and in that week the boys have become inseparable. Harry brings Louis to everything and Louis is happy to follow along.
"She will like you. What is there not to like?" Harry replies and Louis blushes. Harry feels pride at the way he can make Louis blush.
"I can think of a few things," Louis tells him. Harry shakes his head and brings Louis' tiny hand to his lips.
"I can not," Harry says and Louis' blush deepens. Harry pulls the tiny boy closer to him - just enjoying the way their bodies feel together.
"What did you think of Princess Vanessa?" Harry questions. He likes to hear Louis' opinions on the princesses.
"She was rude. Princess Selene has been the best and even she was irritable," Louis remarks. Harry chuckles and looks down at his companion.
"Who do you think I should be with?" He asks and Louis looks up at him. They hold eye contact and neither of them mutter a word.
Harry can feel his heart beat in his chest, telling him he should be with Louis. Telling him he can love him and they can be happy.
"I can not say who I think. I am just a servant, my opinion does not matter," Louis speaks and he looks away from Harry. Harry furrows his brows and gently pulls Louis' face back to his.
"You are not just a servant. You are special and I want your opinion," Harry tells him. Louis casts his eyes down and refuses to look back up.
"Louis," Harry breathes. He just wants Louis to look at him.
"Elizabeth wants me to take her out," Louis finally says and that is not what Harry wants to hear. Harry pulls his hand out of Louis' and looks at him.
"Excuse me?" Harry chokes out and Louis finally looks up.
"I think she might like me," Louis continues and Harry turns to look out the window.
"She does." Harry mutters out bitterly. "She thinks you are funny and smart. She said you are more beautiful than flowers and sunsets. She is completely smitten," Harry tells him. He can feel his heart ache at the thought of them together.
He has known this boy for a week and yet he wants him. He wants to kiss him and hold him. He wants to dance with him and ride horses with him.
"Do you think that?" Louis whispers. Harry turns and gives Louis a confused look.
"What?"
"Do you think I am funny and smart and more beautiful than flowers and sunsets?" Louis asks rapidly.
Harry swallows and nods because he does not trust his voice. He continues to nod as he leans forward, getting closer to Louis.
"I do. I think you're all that and more," Harry whispers - afraid if he speaks louder the moment will shatter.
Harry wants to kiss his lips, but instead he leans forward and kisses his forehead. Harry knows he wants to kiss Louis properly, but boys do not kiss boys.
