The dresses are being designed and the suits tailored. People all over are talking about the engagement ball and Harry just has to smile and act like he is happy.

He went and got the ring not too long ago - maybe four days ago - and Louis and his mom helped him pick it out. It is simple, but the reason Harry picked it was because it reminded him of Louis.

The ring is a rose. The band is the stem, with tiny leaves and the whole silver ring is covered in diamonds. It is not a large ring, but his mother thought it was beautiful and so did Louis. Of course when they returned, Harry may have slipped the ring on Louis' finger and stated that it would look better on him. Louis disagreed. It is a girls ring.

But, now is the time to decide on what to eat and what decorations will be on show. Vanessa is there to help and Harry is trying to act excited - he really is - but, Louis is standing right in front of him. He can not even reach out and touch him. He scowls into yet another flavor of cake and looks at Vanessa. They have all tasted good to him, but she seems to find something wrong with all of them.

"This is very... Sweet. Too sweet," she tells Margret. Margret just looks down and goes to grab the plate away. Harry feels bad for the woman and honestly, he liked the cake.

"I liked it. I think others will too," Harry tells her. Margret smiles at him and Harry returns it happily. He really does like Margret and he does not like her being upset.

"Are you sure?" Vanessa asks. Her tone is just mean and prissy, but Harry nods his head reassuringly.

"The children at the party will love the sweetness of it. I really enjoyed it. Thank you, Margret," Harry tells her. She smiles and bows at him. They had also chosen a plain Vanilla cake for the party and now it was time for the main foods.

Maurice comes out with plate after plate and he smiles warmly at the new couple. He glances over and sees Louis watching them sadly, and he feels bad for the servant boy. Maurice is not stupid and he can see the feelings the two boys carry for each other.

The food tasting is faster than the dessert tasting, mostly because Harry rushes through the whole thing. He is just not in the mood to sit around with his wife to be. He would much rather be with Louis up in his room or maybe riding his horse.

"I am so sorry, Vanessa, but I have to go for my daily ride," Harry tells her. She smiles up at him and flattens out her dress.

"No worries. I will see you at the ball," she grins. She leans forward and places a sweet kiss to Harrys cheek. He blushes - because he can hear Louis make a gagging noise - and Vanessa giggles. She thinks her kissing him caused the blush.

"Bye, my love," she waves. Harry waves back and then turns to Louis. Louis raises his brows and smirks at the prince teasingly.

"Goodbye, my love," he mocks her. His voice is screechy and way to high. It makes Harry chuckle and he rolls his eyes fondly.

"Do not be mean," Harry tells him. Louis just keeps the smirk on his face and starts to back away so he is more into the hall.

"I will see you at the ball, my love. You are just so sweet, sweeter than that cake," Louis continues to mock her. Harry is following him into the hall, his dimples deep in his cheeks. He should be upset Louis is mocking his future wife, but Harry finds it slightly funny.

"Oh, Harry, we are so good together even though you like boys," Louis says. Harry laughs and lunges forward to grab Louis around the waist, but the tiny boy is quick and dodges his arms.

"You will have to catch me, prince," Louis says in his normal voice. He turns to run and Harry is right on his heels. He can hear Louis' laughter bounce off the castle walls and Louis occasionally yells something in his overly girly voice.
