I slowly walked over to the chair closest to the door and sat down. I covered my hands with my hoodie and stared at the floor to avoid looking into his piercing eyes.
"This is all just a Formality . no need to be worried I just want to know how your adjusting. "
" adjusting sir?" I ask quietly still looking at the floor.
"Iv been told your acquiring the same gift if you will as Nick."
"Yes sir. I'm still not fully understanding everything but I'm trying to adjust"
"That good. It will be hard at first but you should transition easily enough. I want you to know that I am well aware of all possible situations that may arise and you can come to me for help. Any time anywhere I will be willing to help. You only have to ask"
"Thank you sir I appreciate it. "
He was a bout to answer when a crash and yelling has the three of us out of the office. A man was fighting against three officers. As I look at his face it changed. Not to a wolf this time but that of a bull. Steam puffed out of his nose before he changed back.
Nick assisted the officers in getting him onto the ground. He looked up at me and snorted once again before giving me a disturbing look.
" so innocent" he says before giving one last lunge towards me. Captain Renard quickly steps in front of me and right hooks his face knocking him onto his back. The air steps from his lungs and the officers take the chance and handcuff him.
"You OK?" The captain asks me and runs his hand over my cheek and down my arm.
" yeah. Yeah I'm good. Why did he do that though?"
" that's gonna be something harder to explain. It may take a while too."
" come for dinner then " nick says.
" I'd love too. Until then " he says addressing me. He gives me a small smile and a nod of his head before going back into his office.
" Come on. I'm gonna drop you off at the spice shop " Nick says as he grabs my arm leading me away.
