"Explain" Sean insists.
" I'm geeky...a nerd. I'm not pretty and I'm not skinny. I'd rather be reading in a cocoon of blankets than party. I have the stupidest fears and might get a bit clingy....okay a lot clingy. I don't see why anyone would want to be stuck with me"
There was a long silence. Not even crickets were chirping.
" I would" Sean declared.
I'm glad I wasn't eating or I would have chocked. My eyes bugged out. Why would someone like him be interested with someone like me?
"What?" I squeak out.
"It would be an honor to bond with you. I see much more in you than you see in yourself."
"Are you opposed? " nick asks.
I open my mouth to speak but I just can't answer. I would love to believe this was real. But there is no way he was serious.
" your serious? Please don't say your joking " I finally answer.
" I'm serious. I would never hurt you like that"
" okay. I accept you offer"
"Then its settled. " nick says.
I push my food away not able to swallow let alone eat. Am I making the right decision?
