Thankfully nick wasted no time in getting us home. I was told to rest so I went to my room and checked the locks before laying down. I couldn't get captain renard out of my head.
The way his muscles rolled and his shirt strained to contain him. I felt a blush creeping up. I shook my head and crawled under the covers.
Dinner time the same day
Nick insisted on take away for dinner convinced I wasn't up to cooking. It would have been a welcomed distraction from the butterflies in my stomach. I put in my headphones and put on Niki manaj. I cleaned the living room while dancing and mouthing to the word's.
I was into it when i I saw nick walking to the door. I kept dancing thinking it was the food. I spin around tossing the pillows back on the couch and dropping to pick up the blanket. I popped back up and rolled my hips before I draped it on the back of the couch. When I looked up I saw nick not only with the food but with the captain at his side.
I stop suddenly and our eyes lock. He's no longer in his suit but in jeans and a button up. I bite my lip and take off my head phones.
"Hi" I squeak out.
He simply gives me a knowing smile before walking into the kitchen with nick.
How long was he there? I could die from embarrassment right now.
