I can't believe I just shook my ass at the captain. I'm internally dieing of embarrassment. 

Reluctantly I followed to the table and sat on Nick's right and across from captain. Nick handed me some sweet and sour chicken with chopsticks. I stared at my food for a while trying to get myself under control. 

"Emma" the captain says. His voice sending shivers down my back.

"Yes sir"

"You can call me Sean ya know"

I couldn't help but test his name out. Letting it roll off my tounge. My mouth watered like I was sucking on candy. Everything about him was just so a luring. 

I swallowed down my nerves and asked " so what did that man mean calling me Innocent? "

"Well there are four types of innocence. Heart mind body and soul. The heart is always seeing the good in people and giving second change when underserved. The mind is without harming contempt. The body ... A virgin. The soul is the most rare and you are born with it. You cannot achieve it or lose it. It is yours from birth to death. I believe you are all four. That makes you very valuable."

" so that man wanted to what? Sell me?"

" that is a possibility. Royals are known for wanting the best. He could have could 

Kept you for his own devices or for a pack whore. Nick and I have been trying to disband that but years of tradition have not made it easy."

"So what's gonna happen to me? I ask with my voice shaking.

His tone softens when he says " you have three options. One train hard and never be with out a weapon. Two. Give up and find a man who would treat you better than some pack alpha. Three. Bond with a protector ."

" what do you mean bond"

" an intense ritual would bind you and the protector together. Sharing thoughts feelings and always knowing where each other are."

" that doesn't sound too bad."

" there are some downs. Having to be in physical contact every six or so hours. It depnds on how strong the bond is. Fierce protectiveness , and its irreversible. The bond can only be broken by death. "

He continues " you cannot bond with just any one. The man has to be powerful but in control. Both have to be willing and hold nothing back. Everything must be shared secrets dreams lies . it all comes out.and lastly the bond can stay platonic but there is a chance it could turn romantic. You must be open to that. 

I feel this would be your best option as well as training. Its your choice but I highly suggest this."

Would I really wanna bond with one person for the rest of my life? Who would I bond with anyway?
