I was having the time of my life; killing zombies and bathing in their blood. The blood was warm, yet the wind from the outside environment was a bit too cold for my liking. Seeking shelter would be a smart thing to do right now. Too focused on running, I felt my legs give out from something grabbing my ankle. I fell and next thing I knew, everything was dark.
I awoke in a makeshift bed made from theater chairs. There was a bandage on the middle of my forehead. Startled, I bolted out of bed. "Ah, calm down. You're safe." The German man sitting beside the door said. "Who are you?" I asked. "Dr. Edward Richtofen."
"Nice to meet you, Richtofen. I'm Azalea Rigger." I smiled at the German, but that smile grew wicked as pain flooded my head. "Are you alright?" He asked. "Yeah. I'm just a bit... peculiar, to say the least." I replied as I stood, rubbing my head. I heard gun shots coming from outside the room. "Is there any reason I'm disarmed?" I asked, looking for my gun. It was nowhere to be found. "You had dropped it when we found you, so I assume Dempsey has it." He replied. "Who?" I asked just as the door opened, revealing a man in green army fatigues. He threw me and Richtofen a gun, yelling, "We could use a little help out here!" I grinned and followed the man outside, ready to fight a horde of zombies. It was great to feel the blood splatter on my pale skin and on my dark clothes. Bodies lay at my feet as I wiped the blood and sweat from my grinning face. I sat on the stairs of the theater as it fell silent, only the Juggernog jingle being played by the door. As we were fighting the zombies before my little break, I introduced myself to everyone. I looked around at the chaos that happened just moments ago. Seeing the insides of the zombies laying on the floor was a bit...erotic, to say the least. I heard boots walking up behind me. I looked up to see Dempsey. "Hey, soldier." I greeted and stood. "Hello back to you, cupcake." He said with a smug grin. "Flirting isn't gonna get you anywhere, sweet talker." I grinned at the soldier standing in front of me. "Whatever, hot stuff." He said before leaving with his attitude. I shrugged before sitting back down.
Not long after, another horde arrived and the five of us were back in gear. I had made my way to the dressing room, killing zombies left and right. Blood splattered everywhere like paint on a canvas. The scenery was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. The horde was soon gone and defeated, and we were left alone for the time being. I stretched, holding my gun above my head and standing on my toes. Suddenly, I felt arms wrap around my waist. I assumed it was a stray zombie. Acting on instinct, I quickly took my gun to the owner of the arm's crotch. Hearing a yelp of pain, I regretted my actions. "Oh my God, Dempsey, I'm so sorry!" I yelled and helped him up. "Remind me..never to do that again.." He said, still in an immense amount of pain. "Now I feel bad.. Is there anything I can do?" I asked out of guilt. I saw the wheels turning in his head. "Nevermind... I don't feel that bad." I grinned as he regained his strength. He just grinned and mumbled something before leaving. I giggled a bit and sat down on a box to gather my thoughts.
The pain in my head returned. This time, it gave me the giggles. A hand landed on my shoulder, startling me. I looked up to see Richtofen. "Hey, Doc. Sorry if I disturbed you."
"Don't worry about it, Liebe. I, too, experience great joy in killing the zombies." He replied. I giggled a bit. "I was actually laughing at my own pain, but, yeah. Killing zombies is always my favorite part of the day." I looked up at him with a smile before standing. The blood and bits of flesh staining his clothes made him look more attractive than he already was. I bit my lip before I looked away. "Is something wrong?"
"Not at all.. I'll see you later, Richtofen." I replied and walked away.I sat on the counter where the Quick Revive machine was, my feet dangling over the edge. I was rather short for my age. Five foot two, to be exact. "Care for a drink?" I heard Nikolai ask behind me. I turned around to see the foul smelling Russian holding his Vodka bottle. "Uh, thanks for the offer, Nikolai, but I don't drink." I replied with a small smile. He shrugged and continued drinking. I looked over at Takeo, who seemed to be meditating, so it was best not to bother him. Dempsey was nowhere to be found, which worried me. I stood and went to look for him.
As I reached the last step of the stairs, I was tackled to the ground by a zombie, but instead of screaming like a normal person, a loud ass moan came out of my mouth. I growled and tried pushing the zombie off. "Guys! A little help over here!" I yelled, causing the four men to rush towards me. Dempsey was the first to kill the zombie. Blood splattered on my face as I pushed the now dead zombie off. "Thanks.." I said, standing up and fixing my clothes. "No problem, sweet cheeks." Dempsey said with a grin. I smiled a bit as the others went back to what they were doing. "So, soldier, where'd you run off to?" I asked with a slight smile. "Trying to find you, hot stuff." He said with a sly smile. I grinned at the American. "Tu pourrais juste croître sur moi.." I said softly, making Dempsey grin down at me, although I could see the confusion in his blue eyes. I giggled a bit and patted his chest before walking back downstairs. As I sat down on the floor, I noticed a large bruise on my right arm from when I fell. I sighed and laid down on my back, staring up at the ceiling.
After a few hours of sleeping on the floor of the lobby, I awoke with Dempsey's jacket draped over me. "Morning, sunshine." I heard the soldier say. "Bonjour, Dempsey." I greeted as I sat up. "I didn't even notice that I fell asleep, honestly." I said softly. I rubbed my eyes as I stood, waking myself up. Looking around, I could hear the distant zombies coming for us. I growled and grabbed my gun as we got ready for battle.
Zombie heads were flying left and right, splattering my skin and clothes with blood. I laughed maniacally. Checking behind me, I shot zombies in the chest and stomach, making their internal organs fall out. "So beautiful..!" I yelled, hearing Richtofen say it in unison with me. I giggled a bit. I guess our madness is the same, not so much with intelligence. Once the zombies were dead, I looked over at Richtofen, his clothes stained with so much blood.. Ah, it was sexy. I have to admit, though. Dempsey with blood stained clothes was sexy too, but there was just something about Richtofen that made him hot.. Maybe madness? I shrugged off the questions that consumed my thoughts and went to confront Richtofen. "They're so beautiful, aren't they, Liebe?" He asked, a wicked grin on his face. I nodded and shared the grin as I looked upon the dead bodies around me, "They really are, Doc." I looked over to the bottom floor, seeing Dempsey and Takeo put the boards back up. Dempsey had a death glare every time he looked at Richtofen and I.
These men were strange, but I liked it.
