Tragedies and Hope

Rosalie was found by Carlisle, the scent of blood had attracted him to the dying girl. He sighed, holding the dying girl in his arms. He easily carried her to a room where he turned her into a vampire, worsening the pain she was already in. Carlisle had left her in his office at his new home.

Rosalie awoke to the voices of the Cullens, arguing.

Carlisle, of course, I understand what she went through before you changed her but even my past is different from hers. Lilith sighed, rubbing her head. What he had just done was an act of selfishness, or so she thought, even if it was intended to help Edward.

Carlisle! How could you think that?! That a mate would solve my problems? I dont want her, not like that! Edward yelled, he was furious with him.

Rosalie was furious at Edward's rejection, even despite her own lack of feelings for him as well. Her vanity still needed feeding, and she was surprised and hurt that Edward wasn't attracted to her.

As she walked past a mirror seeing her own reflection, she was unhappy already but her mood increased with her now improved vampiric beauty, because it meant she was no longer human.

Rosalie wanted to avenge her death by killing Royces friends one at a time. She saved her her "fiance" last, Rosalie donned a bridal gown for dramatic effect and found him locked in a windowless room with a thick, vault-like door guarded by two men. Killing the guards, the screams Royce could hear of the guards that now laid dead outside his room he didnt know what or who was coming for him, but he was sure whatever or whoever it was wanted to drive him to insanity.

Rosalie entered the room where she tortured Royce to death. Though she killed seven men, she was very careful to not spill even the smallest drop of their blood, knowing that she wouldn't be able to resist. She was repulsed by the idea of having any part of them inside her.

Lilith awaited for Rosalie to return. She never got the chance to properly introduce herself before she had run out. Edward was seated beside Lilith. He was still upset at what Carlisle had done. She glanced at him cautiously and rubbed his shoulder gently.

Edward, I must say that Rosalie is now apart of this family... I find it that maybe its a good thing, our family is continuing to grow. Lilith perked up. Edward sighed and ran a hand through his hair.

I know, but none of us had a choice in this life...I just I think that maybe... finding a mate is never going to happen to any of us. Carlisle got lucky finding Esme again. He looked at her, his eyes dull. She pursed her lip, thinking.

Well, I'm prepared to wait for my mate. And until then, I'm here to welcome Rosalie when she returns. At least she can get revenge on the men that did this to her, not as I. Lilith looked down, pained, remembering the horrors of her past.

Lilith, what do you mean at least I can why couldnt you? Rosalie spoke softly but elegantly. Their heads snapped in her direction.

Lilith looked back at Rosalie , as she stood calmly in the doorway, trying to understand. Edward put a comforting hand on her shoulder. She smiled briefly at him as Carlisle and Esme made their way inside the room.

Rosalie, Lilith doesnt like to speak of that... But what you must know, is her past can somewhat relate to your misfortune. Carlisle spoke.

What is that suppose to mean!? Rosalie spat in anger.

She experienced years of pain before I could save her her body. She accepted her fate into this life. He explained, hooking a hand around his wife. Esme looked up at him with love and then send a comforting look towards Lilith.

So, you're saying that she spent her human life in pain? From what? Rosalie asked, feeling her fury deteriorate.

A group of vampires that live in Italy known as the Volturi, they feed off of humans much like most other clans. I believe you can understand that Lilith had experienced a few..." His eyes flickered to his daughter. She beckoned him to continue. " traumas..."

Rosalie looked at Lilith. She felt really bad, even though she didnt know the full story. She had an idea of what Lilith had gone through as a human. Her own pain didnt last long, she had a life full of fun and wonder, but it seemed that Lilith had no choice. Maybe Rosalie needed to look at this differently. She smiled towards Lilith, sitting down beside her, she hugged her tightly. Lilith was surprised, she almost flinched, but then gave in and hugged back.

Im glad to know someone else knows how I feel. Spoke Rosalie.

Im glad youve chosen to join us, Rose. Smiled Lilith.

Edward did have a rebellious period at the beginning of his vampire life. He left Carlisle Lilith and Esme in 1927. During his lone time, he used his mind-reading ability to attack the worst people of society, thinking that, as long as he was serving justice, it would not matter that he was feeding on humans.

His first victim was Esme's abusive ex-husband, Charles Evenson. A few years later, he regretted this decision and returned to Carlisle's family and their diet of animal blood in 1931. It seemed Edward decided to leave again for different reasons, but it didn't take him long to come back. He just needed some time to figure out things. upon his return, he was surprised to see how close Lilith and Rosalie had become. They were like sisters.

Carlisle and Esme were sometimes concerned that he had no romance in his life, which was partly what prompted Carlisle to change Rosalie. However, as stunningly beautiful as Rosalie was, Edward could not stand her shallow and self-absorbed mind, and the two became nothing more than siblings and weren't always on good terms.

It had now been two years after Rosalies transformation, in 1935, Rosalie stumbled across a young man named Emmett McCarty being mauled by a bear outside of Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

Emmett's features reminded her of Vera's young son Henry, and, because of this, Rosalie chose to rescue the dying man. She resisted the urge to drink Emmett's blood and carried him over one hundred miles to Carlisle, who then turned him into a vampire at her request. Rosalie and the others had waited patiently for Emmett to awaken. Everybody was surprised at this new outcome.

Emmett and Rosalie, they were rarely separated after this; the two have found love in each other.

The Cullens had all chose to move to Alaska, to get a different impact of different things and meet a new coven. They encountered the Denali coven, the only other group that shared their diet of animal blood, the leader Tanya showed affection towards Edward but again he did not share the interest.

After being in Alaska and meeting the new coven, they decided in 1937 to move to Forks D.C covered in constant cloud cover, they seemed that maybe this would be their forever home, but they had been discovered by Ephraim Blacks pack of shape-shifters. To secure both sides, the Cullens and the pack made a treaty: they shall not attack or expose the Cullen's unless they bite a human or cross over to the Quileute traditional lands.

The Cullens decided to again to move this time and in hopes later on move back to Forks someday, the Cullens were growing as a family and in strength. With each passing day, Lilith's hope of finding a mate grew stronger.
