Awakened

Fall Has Risen

As I had woken the next day it seemed fall had come the leafs had turned all sorts of colors red, yellow even some still green you name it Rosalie had left the tray for me everything had been making me so tired lately. I yawned as I began to eat the food all I could remember was Rosalie bringing the food the day had only just begun but everything was blurry to me maybe I had just blacked out from exhaustion, I chuckled as I slid on a stretchy dress and a long thin robe making my way out of the room as I lit a smoke I could hear everyone talking from downstairs. I took my time to get there but I knew everyone had already heard me seeing as Jasper was by my side in a matter of seconds helping me down the stairs ever so carefully, it was like I was a fragile china doll to them but I guess with carrying a hybrid child I would be to them. I just couldnt believe how supportive Bella of all people had been I believed it was due to her wanting this with Edward, it made me feel good to know one day I would be able to help her along side with this like she has helped me. We took it pretty slow through the living room he was taking me to the kitchen but it had been taking a long time, once we had reached the kitchen there had been some black and pink decorations smiling with everything that had been going on I didnt know what this was for.

Happy birthday! everyone yelled,

I..uh I gulped what was I supposed to say,

Your welcome Alice chimed through,

Thank you I chuckled,

Esme had made a small cake and some food everyone had been so excited, I knew life was changing for me and becoming all it could but it still made me wonder how I ever became this lucky. Family something I always wanted it made me know somehow the child I'd be holding in my hands so soon that I knew it would be the new beginning, I sighed everyone had gotten me a few things mostly they went together on things but Alice had gotten me a lot of clothes for after I was done being pregnant they were completely my style. I looked around as Jasper placed his hand on my stomach he kissed my cheek and smiled every clan had still been around and joined in for my birthday, I had gone around talking to most of them about the things that I planned to do with the battle coming around very shortly, Carmen and Eleazar came up to me when I was sitting on the couch and smiled as they sat down on the couch across from me.

How have you been feeling? Carmen smiled,

Great I know shes going to come any day now I smiled,

We cannot wait to meet her Eleazar looked at me,

I dont think I want her around the other clans like just until shes just slightly bigger you know? I asked,

We understand that completely its being protective Lily there is nothing wrong with that they both had repeated,

Really? I looked at them,

Of course as a mother, you have every right to want to protect her Carmen she smiled,

Thank you-you both make me feel better about this I looked up lighting a smoke,

What did you decide to name her? Carmen asked,

Rosabella Whitlock I smiled at the name letting out a cloud of smoke,

Thats beautiful Carmen smiled,

Thank you I hugged them both,

I had sat peacefully on the couch yawning as Jasper had come and walked around the couch and put the blanket on me, smiling he sat beside me rubbing my back he kissed my cheek getting my a heating pad to help my sore back. I yawned as he smiled turning on the television and helped me lay down getting a good pillow for me, he looked around as he grabbed a few things getting Esme to make me some hot food it didnt really matter what but I needed something to help make me warm. She had made me some soup I had eaten it fairly quickly before I decided to lay back down Jasper had laid the pillow on his lap and allowed me to put my head on his lap, I smiled as he ran his hands through my hair to try and comfort me as the television played some random things. My eyes were slowly falling I could feel the darkness taking over I hoped this would be a peaceful sleep, but I couldnt be sure that this would all go in my favor as she was going to be due in a few days.

Jasper head gotten up awhile later so he could go hunting Emmett had taken his spot so I could still sleep peacefully, everyone hoped everything would go alright with the birth Carlisle had been doing an extra long hunt. So he could be around just in cased the baby had decided to come any time early the days were quickly passing, by the time Jasper had returned it had been the next morning knowing he had to go school today along with the rest of his siblings, he sighed as he looked down at his beautiful wife sleeping he squatted down kissing her forehead he hated having to leave her, but at least she had Carlisle and Esme along with the Denali clan and not to mention the other clans that they had opened their home to. He had left her peacefully sleeping hoping she could at least sleep the day away to give her more energy in the coming days, everyone was excited especially Rosalie she never knew this was even possible but it made her happy knowing she of all people were going to be a godmother for little Rosabella.

Carlisle had stayed in his office most of the day only leaving to check on Lily, he had wanted to make sure his office was ready for her, her due date was November second but he had assumed it would be more like the third of November. As long as she slept she would get through most of her contractions without even having to know about them, the less stress she put on her body was the better for her and the child Carlisle knew this was already a risky situation. Then again he knew there was no more he could do about it then anything else that happens he just knew getting the child out safely and making the change was the best thing for her, he grabbed his syringe it was rather big being able to collect a ton of venom into this it would be injected into her heart. It was her only and best way of survival as the child would most likely kill her but with the vampire venom it made her have a slight chance at this life he just hoped Jasper had made peace with the idea, but who could easily come to terms that your child could cause complications which in turn could kill your wife. I knew if that had been Esme it would take me a very long time to even come to any sort of compromise in my heart to know it was for the best, he sighed getting his table and surgical tools prepared he knew this would be tough for everyone.

By the time it had even hit 3:30 in the afternoon everyone had been getting back from school and once Jasper had come home he found his wife still asleep, it was sort of shocking but her body has been drained for several days he was glad she had been sleeping this well he bent over and kissed her head. He had made sure everything was set out for her tea when she awoke Carlisle had come down looking at everyone, smiling he was happy I was sleeping through so many of the contractions it soon would be due time, he knew the next time she most likely had stood it would be time to welcome a new family member. He went down beside me and smiled as he felt the strong pulse making sure that she was still doing okay. Her eyes had begun to flutter open once she had been touched Carlisle had just chuckled and smiled kissing her head, he had checked all of her vitals writing them down and handed her a smoke smiling as he lit it for her.
