The girl was sleeping in my arms, she moaned in pain and twitched every once in awhile. Talia watched her every move, staring at me as I held her. "Do you think she'll be alright now?" I questioned Talia worried. She scanned her for another moment before looking up at me. "I'm really not sure Stiles."
Biting my lip I wiped the hair out of her eyes and got slowly off the bed.
Something suddenly latched onto my arms keeping me in place unable to keep walking. Turning back around, it was the girl in her sleep.
"Uh." I whispered pointing to her hand as Talia just watched amused.
"Someone seems attached." Deaton came in with a glass of tea, I sighed nodding. "She does have a magical force, sort of like you Stiles. Actually a lot like you."
My eyes shot up and stared at him. "Is she a spark?" Deaton shook his head. "No. Something else with that scream." He set the cup of tea down nudging his head to her direction. I nodded and slowly grabbed her shoulders and shook them softly.
The girl fluttered her eyes open slowly, they widened and she whimpered and quickly set up shoving herself away from me bumping into the table, knocking the tea to the ground. "No! no, no, calm down, we aren't trying to hurt you." My arms went out carefully and fast, I gave a small smile. She looked back at me and to Talia, and to Deaton.
Deaton gave a small smile and so did Talia as they slowly backed up from us as I got closer to her. "I'm Stiles." Her green eyes glanced up at me looking into mine deeply. "I know." she whispered pulling her hair back behind her ear and began messing with the dirty ratted shirt. She had some type of dirty All Time Low t-shirt along with a tattered red silk skirt, if she had any shoes they had been taken off.
"What?" I asked quietly thinking I heard wrong. "I-I know you are Stiles. And I know you are magical." She said roughly pointing at me, she then glanced around the room to Deaton and pointed at him also before her eyes stopped at Talia and the boy behind her. Derek came in.
Her soft eyes changed suddenly in emotion and she widened them, looking down once again while messing with the bed sheet. "I know you two are werewolves. The woman the Alpha. Boy the Beta. And I'm really....really sorry about the mess in the floor. " she whispered blushing.
Smirking I glanced up at Derek to see him staring at her, I put my hand out in front of her to give a friendly jester of a shake but she flinched but glanced up at me, frowning I put it down. "Since you know I'm Stiles. Who are you?" I questioned softly. "Quil." Swallowing and looking up, her eyes a deep sea green again.
"Nice to meet you Quil. That's Deaton, Talia, and Derek." I said pointing to each with their name. "Hi." Derek said smiling. She softly waved at Derek and got closer to me. "I'm cold." she muttered leaning into me and closing her eyes."The trip was farther than I thought here...." she whispered becoming limp.
Quickly picking her up I looked at Talia. "She needs to get some water and food. She's dehydrated and...starving. I think." I whispered the last bit a little confused as to how I know that she was also starving. "It's your connection with her, Stiles." Deaton said being weird as always, as if he read my mind.
"What connection?" Derek asked raising his eyebrow and crossing his arms. "Their connection through the nemeton." Deaton said as if it was the most obvious thing. "Can't you feel it? Feel her?" I glanced at the girl in my arms, I was holding her over my shoulder and I felt her heartbeat flutter every few seconds.
And somehow, I knew Quil was gonna be okay. "I need to get her home." I said looking at Deaton. "I think Quil is stuck here just like you."
This is great. "Only difference, is from what she's said, seems like she knew she was gonna be sent here." glancing down I took in Deaton's words.
"Quil?" I questioned nudging her with my hand. She muttered something incoherent and stuffed her face into my neck, her brunette hair getting pushed into my face. I sighed and plopped down on the floor tired. "She's what, 15? 16? She's just a kid." I exclaimed upset.
We was just kids when this happened to us. Derek is just a kid, Liam was a kid. "Kids get thrown into this constantly." I said to Talia glancing at Derek. "How old are you, seventeen?" Derek snarked raising another caterpillar. "You are still a kid too technically." Derek added grinning like he won a award or something. I laughed softly rolling my eyes.
"I'm twenty-three but thank you though." I replied sarcastically and annoyed. "Really? You sort of look like a fifteen year old who has facial hair."
"Shut up Sourwolf..." I grumbled. "At least I have more control over some things, unlike you." I muttered smirking, waiting for his reaction.
                            "Hey!"
