Ben's POV
Keven, Gwen, and I have traveled a long way to help our cousin. I hope he doesn't ignore us and keep harming himself. Even If I haven't seen him in years I still care so much about him. A little part of me wonders if he is doing this on purpose. I mean, shouldn't that be the first thing they teach an Anodite? It's a little off if you ask me. It hurts me to think of my cousin doing this as some sort of self harming. Why would he ever do that? Ah, the sooner I get there, the happier I'll be!
"Are we close?" I ask my cousin's boyfriend. He nods. I swear I have not asked that question more than four times... I've asked it three times for your information. What can I say, I may or may not have ADD. It's a Tennyson thing. Almost all of us have it.
"We are entering the city limits now." Kevin replies. I look ahead to a sign reading 'Welcome To Beacon Hills' on it. I hear there is some cool stuff in Beacon Hill, but it looks like any other little town. Maybe Stiles was talking about it just being a cool place to live as in the scenery. Nothing crazy or anything. Bit of a disappointment, but I'll deal with it. There are some really tall and cool looking trees. I guess that counts for something.
"Seems like a nice place to live." Gwen acknowledges. We pass over the county line and the Anodite immediately shivers. Hello, that is a promising sign of supernatural shit. "But the aura of this place, it gives me shivers." She comments. I silently cheer to myself. Yes! So there is something here after all.
"I would imagine so. We are over a pretty large magnetic field." Kevin informs us. My hopes drop back down. No! I got my hopes up for nothing! What a disappointment. I cry every time.
"That could explain it." Gwen replies, unsure. I finally decide to stop getting conflicted feelings about this place. I am going to be my own judge for this place. The only true way to find something out is to do it yourself. I am going to figure the mystery that is Beacon Hills.
"Great, now we try to find him." Kevin snarks. Gwen closes her eyes and reopens them, showing they are glowing a pink color. She says a bit of her gibberish, really focusing on our cousin. She sit for a good thirty seconds before groaning and returning to normal. I have never seen that happen to her. Her location spell failed, how did that happen.
"Geez, this magnetic field has that spell all screwed up. I am getting ten different pings of where he could be and it sucks." She groans, slamming her head back on the seat. Damn, she is stumped. You can see she is seriously pissed about the spell not working. Have no fear, Jet Ray is here!
"I'm going to take an overhead look to see if I can find him." I insist. I look down at my watch and twist it till it shows the alien I want. I then slam it down and begin my transformation. It is painless, yet if feels kinda weird if you ask me. I am so use to, but when I first got the omnitrix it was the worst. A tingle happens, then you feel your body turn Jello like. Actual, no, not jello. It's more like a slime blob of DNA. It then remodels and hardens to a alien form. In this case I turn into an Aerophibian. Aka, Jet Ray.
"Don't get spotted and mess this up, dumb ass." Kevin warns me. I laugh, shaking my head. I roll down the window and lean out the side of the car, feeling the wind in my face. A shiver goes down my spin at the feeling of the chilly weather. It is most certainly cold here. Guess that's what we get for coming here in November. I don't wanna complain about it, on the other hand it is absolutely freezing outside.
"Kevin, when have I ever messed up?" I ask him rhetorically, then leaping out to take flight.
Scott's POV
I can't believe that Stiles is an alien! I still don't believe this one hundred percent, but he said that he is all for showing me after he goes to Deaton to breath in that air again. What was that air anyway? I'll ask him when we get there. If Deaton did tell me what it is I didn't listen whatsoever. I was too busy on the fact my best friend was glowing. I was also to worried that Stiles was hurt. It hurt me so bad to see him like that. All it made me want to do is hug him and try to take his pain. Not talking in a gay way, but in a major brotherly way.
We pull up and park at the animal clinic within a couple of minutes. As we are getting out of the Jeep Stiles shivers and freezes. I look at him with concern and come to realize that his eyes are glowing a purplish pink.
"Are you okay?" I ask him. It takes a couple of minutes but he finally responds.
"Yeah, but I need to do something right quick." He states. He holds a hand out at his jeep and mutters some words I don't understand. I was confused until Jeep starts the glow. I jump away from the vehicle and nearly fall. I turn back to see the vehicle slowly fade out of view. Meaning it disappeared. Well, I am one step closer to fully believing he is an alien.
"Holy hell that was cool..." I utter, looking at where the Jeep just was. "Where did it go?" I ask, reaching out to find it. I flinch when I feel a hard panel of the Jeep hits my hand. Yo, it's invisible! How did he do that!? That is freaky and that's coming for a werewolf! I though things couldn't get anymore supernatural than my current life!
"I made it invisible. I'll explain why later. We need to get in the vet office." He rushes off inside so I follow. I have no clue what is happening, but it seems that I've walked in on some crazy alien stuff. What the hell is even going on? Why is he freaking out? Why was his eyes lighting up like a Christmas tree? I am going to get some answers one way or another.
"Stiles, tell me what's wrong." As we are are walking through the waiting room, I grab his arm and turn him to me. I don't know what happened, but he must have tripped on something because he rams into me, sending us both to the ground. He lands on top of me in the most awkward way possible. Stiles lands in between my legs with both of his hands on either side of my head. That wasn't the most awkward part. The big part was his lips landed on mine. Both of our eyes widen. A flustered feeling flushes over my body.
It's as if butterflies are all in my stomach and they won't go away. Wow, even when he isn't trying, he's a good kisser. Never thought I would be saying this about Stiles. Shit, I never though I would be kissing someone I would consider my brother! Does that make this freaky family on family shit? If so, I want no part... yet I do? Okay, I will admit, the kiss is the best I've ever have. Am I going to say that to him? Hell no! He'd think I am a freak! If there is anything out of this kiss, I'll say I may need to reconsider my sexuality. That's nothing major since I use to think I was Bi. I could be that actually.
After ten seconds Stiles pulls away from my lips and tries to look everywhere else but at me. There is a deep red flush on each of our faces, and that is going no where. He has yet to move from out laying position, but he gets alert when a weird sound comes from outside.
"Scott, we can talk about this accident later. Right now we have bigger fish to fry." Stiles says, getting up and peaking through the window.
