I open the door to my bedroom and slam it behind me, not caring who I wake up. My dad grounded me until my eighteenth birthday. I sigh loudly, leaning against the door. I pull out my phone from my back pocket and dial Aaron's number. He promised me he wouldn't drive all the way home, but stay at a hotel.

It rings twice before he answers.

"You in trouble?"

"Sadly, yeah. Grounded for two weeks."

"Sorry,"

I sigh and slide to the floor, putting my head in my free hand.

"Are you okay?" I ask.

"Yeah, just laying in my hotel room right now." He teases.

I laugh a little. "Okay, good."

I think back to the conversation we had in the car.

"I want you to be my girlfriend."

"Aaron, I... I... really?"

He laughed. "That wasn't the answer I wanted."

"I"m sorry, just a lot has gone on..."

"I understand."

"No you really don't. I haven't told you so many things."

He started biting his lip like he was expecting me to tell him I had an STD.

"My mom died a couple weeks ago. She overdosed. That's why I live in Tampa with my dad. I like you, a lot. But I don't want to be a bother to you."

He slowed and pulled over, looking at me seriously. "You could never be a bother to me." He squeezed my hand then. "I'm sorry, but I want to be with you. To actually be with you. I want to walk down the street and hold your hand. I want this to be more than just a fling where we sleep together on weekends. I want to be able to call you mine."

I had started crying then, he wiped away a few tears and smiled at me. That's when I had nuzzled into his hand and said, "I would love to be your girlfriend."

"Belle?"

I jump back to reality realizing I had zoned out. "Yeah, sorry."

"Do you want me to come over tomorrow? I don't have class Monday."

I smile, mischeviously. "I'd love that. You could meet my dad then."

I practically hear his grin through the phone. "I believe that's the proper thing to do, being the boyfriend and all."

"I agree." I say, grinning from ear to ear.

There's a knock on more door and my dads voice booms from the other side. "Belle,go to bed."

I sigh and stand up. "I have to go. See you tomorrow?"

"Yeah, what time?"

"Around noon."

"Okay, bye baby."

I hang up the phone and smile to myself. My insides feel warm. He called me baby.

I change into some pajama's and lay in bed, slowly falling asleep.

"Belle there's someone here for you." My dads deep voice wakes me up. I look at my phone.

Shit, it's noon. How did I sleep so long?

I don't bother getting dressed or putting on makeup, he's seen me without it. I run down the stairs and find Aaron in the kitchen with my dad.
