I never really thought of how I would die.
Tears ran down my face as I thought of Bruce and how guilty he'll feel. How Wally will feel. How I feel.
I tried getting up, but I couldn't move. I was falling.
My legs felt broken everything felt broken.
I closed my eyes thinking of my childhood wishing I just had a little more time. Just a little.

"Dude Wally what the hell"
I pushed him playfully and he punched me in the arm.
Bruce came in looking well I can't explain what his face.
"Dick I need to tell you something he's back"
The team looked at me curious to who "he" is.
"Bruce who is he?"
"Tony...Tonny Zocco"
I stopped breathing. How? How did he get out?
"He got out of jail?" Wally the only person besides the whole justice league who knows my past.
I backed up bumping into Artemis.
"I'm sorry..."
But I collapsed to the ground Wally catching me.
"No" I said this over and over again and again.
"Dude we are gonna get him just think of this as another mission" Wally said trying to make me feel better.
I sat on the floor not caring what I looked right now.
Bruce helped me up taking me to the mansion, but I refused.
The team was confused at my sudden change in mood.
"What is Tony Zocco to you?" Artemis said.
I looked at her then put my head back down.
"A monster"

I calmed down then picked myself off the couch.
Everyone was in the kitchen.
When I walked in everyone starred at me. I smiled sheepishly.
"Sorry I was just shocked, but I'm ok"
"You sure your ok Robin?" Megan asked.
I'm not ok I wanted to say.
"Yeah I'm sure"
She smiled then handed me a cookie.
Wally grabbed my arm taking me out of the kitchen.
"Dude you are not ok"
"Look I'm just..."
"Di-Rob don't say your ok when your not"
"But I am"
Wally just starred at me.
"The guy who kill- murdered your whole family just escaped from jail do you have a clue what he is doing?"
"HE MURDERED YOUR FAMILY!" Connor said with the rest of the team behind him.
Wally and I both jumped.
I looked at Wally then my feet.
I was about to say something when Artemis interrupted.
"That's it no more secrets I am tired of it!" Artemis took off her mask throwing it on the floor. Wally took of his soon followed by Megan in her true white martin form.
"What's your truth?" Artemis said
I looked back down not knowing what to do.
"Ok lets start simple what is your real name."
I smiled.
"I'll let you figure that out yourself"
"Ok... How about"
"Batman said no one can know my real identity"
"Then how did Wally find out?"
"That was an accident he just popped out of nowhere"
Wally smiled remembering the first time we met.
After what felt like forever they gave up.
"We'll laugh about this someday" I said.
Artemis looked at me then shook off whatever thought was in her mind.
Then an alarm went off.
"Batman to Mount Justice"
We all ran to the screen.
"Tony Zocco he's..."
The screen went black the screen the turned back on but it wasn't Bruce.
Tony Zocco.
"See all these people" he said pointing down at a circus.Hailey's circus was back in Gotham,"I will kill all of them unless you bring me one little thing"
"What is that?" Connor yelled.
"Dick Grayson you have 6 hours starting now"
The screen went black Bruce not returning.
"Isn't Dick Grayson Bruce's adoptive son?" Megan asked.
"Yeah he goes to my school..." Artemis said.
I gulped. Why did he want me?
"With Aqulad gone we need to make this desicion together. What do we do?" Megan said.
"We can't give him Dick Grayson" Wally said.
"Agreed, but he'll kill all those people"
"Then we do what we always do. We save them"

We were at the circus tent we snuck inside to find no one inside before anyone had time to react we were all grabbed from the side. Wally had cuffs on that he couldn't vibrate through. They took Artemis's bow from her first. Somehow they had kryptonite making Superboy weak. They grabbed Megan and chained her. It was me and Tony now.
He smiled. He struck first, but I doged it. I'm still 13 so I'm much faster. But he was stronger. A bunch of guys maybe 50 or so came out of no where. I tried fighting them but there was too many. I was taken down beaten. They kicked me in my back, punched me in my sides. I was beatin until I was almost uncouncious. I laid on the ground as Tony told the guys to stop.
He grabbed me by my hair blood dripping down my cheeks showing my face to the team.
"Do you know who he is?"
I looked at Wally who looked at me trying to get to me, but couldn't.
He lifted my head even more ripping my mask off.
"Tell them who you are!"
He kicked me hard in the stomach.
"I said tell them who you are!" He said kicking me again.
"I'm Dick Grayson"
The team all tried getting out of there traps knowing what was gonna happen.
"You destroyed my life. Everything"
"You destroyed my life when you took my family away from me!"
"If you want to see them so bad..."
He dragged me up the ladder until we reached the top. He dropped me but I caught the railing screaming in pain my shoulder telling me to let go, but I fought it.
I looked down. Was I gonna die the way my parents died. Will it hurt?
I looked over to the team.
"Wally tell Bruce this wasn't his fault. It is no ones fault."
Tears were coming down my eyes know knowing what my fate was.
I looked back up at Tony who started to step on my fingers making me let go. I closed my eyes. And let go.
"Dick!" Wally screamed.

I felt the ground hit me, but as soon as I felt it there was a bright light. I realized I was standing up my mom had her arms spread. I ran up to hug her and wrap my arms around her.
"I've missed you so much"
"My Robin my sweet little bird I'm so proud of you."
"Am I really dead?"
"Your job is done sweety"
She stroked my hair and I smiled.
I took her hand and she took me away into the light.
I looked back seeing Wally on top of my body Artemis holding Wally both crying. Megan cried into superboy. Bruce holding my body close to his crying his tears dripping onto my blood soaked cheeks.
Just a little more time. That's all I want. Just a little more.
"Are you ready?" My mother asked.
"No not yet"
