I was lying on my bed, thinking about what has happened over the last 5000 years. Okay, 5000 Chaos years and 5 mortal years. I had formed even closer friendship bonds with Calypso, Hazel, Bianca, Zoë, Silena, Kinzie, and Phoebe.

Yes, when I say Bianca, Zoë, and Silena, I mean Bianca di Angelo, Zoë Nightshade, and Silena Bereaguard. Luke Castellan, Charles Bekendorf, Lee Fletcher, and Michael Yew are here too. Not as ghosts, but proper flesh and blood bodies. Why?

Chaos allowed us to choose friends who has died to be part of the army. And Percy chose them. Of course, Jason got to choose some too, but he said he didn't really have any dead friends. Thalia had chosen the ex hunters/ amazons.

I thought of how we ended up here. I wonder if the two boys were still jerks and if they had finally mastered their powers, and if so, I wonder how. We weren't there to train them. Or maybe they gave camp up. I wonder how to hunters were doing. So I decided to IM them.

With my powers, I created a rainbow and took a drachma from the pouch. "Oh Iris, goddess of the rainbow, accept my offering. The huntress Kayla at the hunt's campsite." I chanted. Soon, the face of my best friend in the hunt appeared. "Kayla! How is the mortal world doing?" She faced me and grinned. "Badly! The evil forces have started stirring. We found som-" She was cut off by someone shouting, "Kayla! What are you doing? Come and hunt with us!" Kayla shouted back, "I'm iris messaging Rhodania! Wanna talk?" Then another girl came into view. "Hey, Ro! How ya doing?" The girl was Alicia, one of my closer friend in the hunt too. "I'm doing fine! But I really want to talk to Kayla privately, sorry, Alicia." She looked a little miffed but she left. "You were saying? Something about evil forces?" I prompted. "Oh, yeah. We found something out. We found out who the enemy is, Gaia, Tartarus, the giants, and the Titans are coming back at us, full force! Monsters which had been extinct for millennia are now awake and roaming the mortal world. Oh, and they injured Hecate so the mist is now down. The Gods decided to reveal themselves to the mortals, but not the demigods, hunters, or Amazons. We have our hands full, hunting Monsters and whatnot." I felt really bad. I should be there for them. Not here! "I'm so sorry, Kayla! I should be there, fighting together with all of you!" She shook her head, "No! We understand your choice. Don't worry, we'll cope. I gotta go! Bye!" With that, she slashed through the mist.

I flopped on my bed again, troubled by what I had just heard. Then I heard a knock on my door. I took some deep breaths to calm myself down. Then I opened the door. I found Bianca standing there. "Hey, what's up?" I reeled as I let her in. I sat on the bed. "Zeus. But come on, we're all waiting for you." She said. "For what?" "To eat, duh. Come on." She dumbly replied. "I don't wanna eat, you guys eat without me." I mumbled, dropping my face into my pillow. "You know Chaos about 'eating as one whole big family.' He won't let us start eating until all of us are present! Come on! We're starving." She used air quotes. "Fine!" I relented. "Finally" She muttered.

We went to the dinning table to see all of them there. "Sorry, I lost track of time." I mumbled. Chaos just smiled. We started eating. What's wrong? Thalia mouthed at me. Nothing I mouthed back. Something is definitely wrong she mouthed. Fine come to my room later after dinner. I mouthed.

After dinner, all of them came to my room. "Spill." Hazel said. I sighed and told them what I heard from Kayla. "I'm thinking that we might have to go back soon.... to help with the war." Nico said unwillingly. "Never! I'm never going back to that hell hole again! Camp Jupiter I'll go." Percy yelled. "Perseus! They need our help!" Kinzie chided and Percy flinched at "Perseus". "I know that." Perseus said dumbly. I forgot to mention that the original Perseus, Achilles, and Jason were here too. We just rolled our eyes. "Erm, can I talk to Percy alone?" I requested. "Sure, Ro." Hazel said and they started filing out.

"Percy, what's wrong?" I asked. "Nothing."

"Come on. It's something. Why do you flinch whenever people say your full name?"

"T-That's what he called me. He called me that w-whenever he c-came to me. He called me that when he beat me... he called me t-that when he cut me..." He was hunched now, shivering. He was sobbing quietly. "He called me t-that when h-he k-killed... M-my m-mum." He was crying now.

"Percy, were... were you... abused?"

He nodded slowly.

"Who's he?"

"G-Gabe, M-my s-stepfather."

"Percy..." I tried to go closer but he scampered away.

"G-go away! D-don't h-hurt me!"

"Percy, I would never..."

"No! T-they a-always end up h-hurting me. G-go away!"

It broke my heart to see my brother like this : the great Percy Jackson permanently emotionally scarred all because of a jerk of a step father.

"Percy... it's me, Rhodania, your sister." I tried going closer but he scampered back.

"G-go away!"

I continued going towards him, he kept backing away. Finally, I had cornered him. I touched his back hesitantly and he shrieked in pain.

"Percy! Calm down! No one is gonna hurt you here! Shush... it's alright. I'm not gonna hurt you." I tried touching his back and he shrieked again.

"Percy, what's wrong?" He was shuddering, sobbing, shivering. Something was wrong.

"Percy... what's wrong? Are... are there scars?" He looked up at me, hurt, scared, betrayed, untrusting, were all on display in his big sea green eyes. I slowly lifted up his shirt and studied his back closely.

Other than his battle scars, I noticed some really really faint long lines that looked like it was given by a whip. I noticed the scars forming words like, baby, mama's boy, wimp. They were really really faint but I could see them. And I was angry. Angry at the monster who did this to my big brother. Angry that he allowed this to happen. Angry at that jerk who killed Sally Jackson. Angry at the gods for allowing this to happen to Percy.

"Percy, I'm so sorry that this happened to you. But here, no one would ever hurt you. You can count on my word no one on this planet will ever hurt you again, not emotionally, not physically, not in any possible way. Trust me. The people at that hell hole may hurt you, but we won't." I reassured him. He was still crying, so I let him cry to sleep then placed him on my bed. I was worried about my brother. No one would ever hurt my brother again. No one. Never again.
