Chiron's POV (flashback to the day they left.)
I woke up to find our best heroes gone. The whole camp knows about this now. I can't believe it. It's not just one or two, but 10. There were rumours going all over camp. Without these 10 heroes, the camp has never been the same. Most of the 10 has played vital parts in winning the Second Giant war... not to mention a few in the Second Titan war. I was rummaging through my drawer when I found a note :To Whoever cares:
We have left because this hell hole holds too much painful memories. We will never come back willingly. And forget about us. Take care of your two new heroes, CHB, for you old heroes will never be back, at least not willingly. This is what you get for betraying us.
Goodbye, CHB.

P.S. Hope you two like your new boyfriends, Annabeth and Piper. Have fun snogging each other.
P.P.S. Enjoy your new heroes, CHB.Για όποιον ενδιαφέρεται:
P.P.S. Απολαύστε τους νέους ήρωες σας, CHB.I was heartbroken. 10 of our heroes were gone and it was all my fault. For all I know they may be dead. Oh,why had I been so foolish to believe the new boys? No way could two inexperienced demigods fight 10 dracanae and survive.

The boys has proven impossible to train. They had absolutely no talent. Now that Jason and Percy were gone, there was no one to train the boys in their powers. Of course, they can be trained by Thalia and Rhodania but they were gone too. They were terrible swordsmen and could not even hold the sword right. Now, five years later, they only knew how to play defence. Yes, you read that right, it took them five years to learn how to play defence. Percy's fifth year at camp and he was already fighting in the Second Titan war. Well, at least Derrick knows a tiny bit of offence. Their powers... the past five years, they had either been torching the trees or flooding the cabin. Derrick's power would have been nice for cleaning away all the blood after a war.
I thought back to the day I read that note to the campers. They had cried, especially Annabeth and Piper. I shed a few tears myself too. Even Clarisse did. After weeks of searching and consulting the gods which they never answer, we finally decided to declare them dead. We held a funeral for them. And Piper, Annabeth, Clarisse, Chris, the Stoll brothers and others spent weeks and weeks mourning. I mourned myself and even blamed myself. If I hadn't said those words... I remember when Rhodania came up to Artemis to ask permission for Percy to rest in their cabin... she never spared a glance at me. I was so disappointed with myself, me, Chiron, the centaur who trained all the greatest heroes... lost my faith in my students. I let them think that I hated them. I let them think... I almost asked for some of Dionysus' beer.
Today, is the fifth aniversety of the missing heroes' assumed death and their old friends were bawling. We were in the middle of the ceremony when a a portal opened up and spit out 9 cloaked, hooded and masked people. The campers immediately took out their weapons.
The 8 mysterious people got up, brushed themselves off, and stood in a straight line. They seemed to scan us critically. They all started laughing when they noticed Darrick and Josh, holding their swords shakily. Furious, the boys tried to use their powers to seem threatening. Little lightning flashed, the seas were a little wilder. The boys glared at the new arrivals who had now fell over laughing. Laughing loudly. Very loudly. They held on to everything for support. The campers were stunned.
Then one of them spoke, "May I ask, who is your godly parent?" It was asked in a complete monotone. The boys looked surprised. "We're the sons of Zeus and Poseidon! You should be fearing us! Not laughing!" Josh cried indignantly. At that, they doubled over laughing again. They took a while to calm down.
Then a slightly taller one said, "Are you sure?" The boys nodded. I could tell the new arrivals were wrongly, their stances completely wrong hard to stay calm. "And that's how you hold your swords?" The boys quickly corrected. "May I ask, what were you doing just now?" The hooded figure from before asked. "Using our powers, duh!" Derrick answered.
"Really? That's what you call powers?" The mysterious person asked. "Oh, if your soooo good, why not you show us?" Josh shot back. "Do you want us to do that? Are you sure?" The boys nodded. "I suggest we do that later, when we have time. Now we have more important things to do." Josh sneered, "Why? You scared?" The strange people laughed again. "No, I'm not scared, but maybe all of you should be. Campers! Listen up. I'm pretty sure you've heard about the oncoming war?" The campers nodded. "Good. Know about the enemies?" The campers shook their heads. "What in Hades?! Chiron, you never told them? Not even the head counselors?" The hooded figure cried. "I'm afraid not." I replied, trying to be calm but I was trying not to wet my pants. "Wow. Just, wow. Ok, never mind. Let me explain who we are. We are the Warriors sent by Chaos. And we are here to train you. You will be destroyed if the two only demigod children of the Big 3 here are like that." The person gestured at Derrick and Josh. "You would have to be trained. Trained hard. Only then will you have a chance. Our allies are Camp Jupiter, Chaos' army, the Hunters, the Amazons, the Olympians, and all minor deities. Now we will introduce ourselves. I'm Trident." They went down the line. After Trident, it was Huntress, then Forge, Beauty, Angel, Death, Jewel, Fire, and Garden.
"Now! For you to know your enemies. No interrupting. You have, Gaia, Tartarus, the giants, the Titans, Kronos. Shut up! That's why we are sent here to train all of you. Chaos told us that war was coming in a month. No time for nonsense. All of you need to know how to fight with various weapons, sword, daggers, bows, throwing knifes, spears, javelins, the works. Now, go have an early night." The one called Trident said. "Oh! Wait. You, us, a power show next Saturday. A challenge. I would do it now, but you two should train more." The last part was directed at Derrick and Josh. Then they went off, laughing their heads off.
I worried about where they were going to sleep but when I reached the cabins, a mansion had appeared and I think that they're staying there.
