"Mommy! Why do we have to leave our home?"
"Dear, Our home has become a bad place to live in."
"Why can't God fix our home?"
"God is trying his best, Honey"
"I don't believe."
"May be God can't fix our home, but he has some other plans for us. HE always has."
Dr. Jennifer Connor wakes up from yet another same dream that she has been experiencing for the past few weeks. She looks out of the window, but the vast outer space has nothing to offer except for its darkness. Dissapointed from her view, she gets up and changes into her suit made from the latest bio-fabrics which is enhanced for space travel.
Stepping out from her chamber, she walks through the bridge which connects to the Crew Deck. "Its a long walk" she said to herself. Her thoughts started wandering off as she keeps walking. She feels proud to be part of the crew for the MISSION:BACILLUS. The UniWorld Corporation had no other choice but to choose her as she was the micro-biologist that made the breakthrough of discovering Bacillus Megatorium.
Jennifer reaches the Crew Deck after the long walk. She was heading towards the coffee machine, when she was greeted by a tall handsome human,
"Good Morning, Mam"
" Morning, SAI"
"How was your sleep? Mam"
"It was nice. Have I been asleep for too long?"
"2 hours 13 mins to be exact, Mam."
"You can stop calling me Mam, I have a name you know" she chuckles.
"Sorry Mam, But my protocols doesn't allow me to."
Jennifer looks at SAI and wonders how could scientists create a life-like human being but without a soul.
"What's your Modesty & Behavioural Level ?"
"At 95% Mam."
"Tone it down to 50%"
"Okay Jenny. DONE"
" You are so cute."
"Is your headache still bothering you Jenny ?"
" A little bit,SAI"
" I wish I could experience pain as you "
"Maybe someday you will. But let me tell you its not that good" Jennifer laughs.
Looking around the Crew Deck, Jennifer finds no one else.
"Is everyone else still in Hiber-Sleep?"
"Yes they are healthy and fine. They will be up in 1 week"
"Okay. I will just go over and check up on them"
"As you wish, Jenny"
Jennifer opens up her electronic tablet and leads herself to the Hiber-Sleep chamber to check up on rest of the crew.
