Chapter 5

NASHS POV:

I look up at Cameron and he is frowning. Huh, probably regretted on sitting by me. Oh well, its not like I haven't felt this was before. "Ok class, we are doing a writing assignment, you have to right a few paragraphs about your partner."  I heard a lot of yes's around the room, and Cameron has a grin of excitement plastered on his face.

"Now before you get all excited, I picked the partners." She says with an obvious smirk on her face.

"Alex and Alicia......." I wait till I hear my name.

"Cameron and....." I wonder who he's gonna be paired up with.

"Nash, ok class go sit by your partner." Cameron giggles. "I guess I dont have to move then." Yes! I got paired up with Cam! Wait, I'll have to go to his house and I'll cave eventually! No this was a mistake!

"Teacher!, can I please have a new partner?" I look over at Cameron and he has a frown on his face. I shrug it off.

"Nope, everyone already has a partner." She says in monotone. Great now my like after schools gonna be even worse.

CAMERON'S POV:

"Can I have new partner?" Nash says shakily like he is scared on me. What? He thinks I'm like Jacob?

"Nope, everyone already has a partner." She says.

I mentally jump for joy. "Why did you want to switch partners?" I whisper to him curiously.

"I thought you wouldn't want ME as your partner." He says while pointing to himself.

"Are you serious? Well I don't care, can we meet at my house after school?" I ask hopefully.

"Um.. Sure."

"Cool, I'll wait for you at your locker and i'll drive us to my house." I say with a grin.

"Ok....wait, how do you know where my locker is?" he says scared of my answer.

"Brriiinggg" the bell rings.

"I have my ways." I say and I wink at him . Oh no, why did I wink at him! He's gonna think i'm wierd!

NASH'S POV:

Well that was awkward... I wonder why he wants to be my partner! So now I'm waiting at my locker. He walks over to my locker and smiles at me.

"Ready to get going?" He asks.

"Yup..." I say popping the p.

"Follow me!" He says while skipping like a toddler and I follow close behind. I stare at his car in awe. "wow" slips out of my mouth before I can stop it.

"I know right, saved up for this baby, my entire life." Wow I didn't think for him to be that kind of person. I thought he was a spoiled rich kid. So were in the car and driving to his house. He lives in a simple but beautiful house, it's bigger than mine but not what i expected from a boy who wears designer clothing.

"So my room is upstairs, make yourself at home and ill be right back. Im getting some snacks." I nod and walk up the stairs.

His room is so neat. Their's barely anything in here that I would think he would have. He came up and burst through the door with a ton of snacks. I see Fritos, Doritos and any kind of fruit and chocolate snack. I stared at him in awe. Wow thats more food I've seen in my entire life!

"Well i wouldn't believe that." He said laughing.

"What?" I asked "well, you were talking out loud." My eyes widened, well at least he didn't believe me. That's actually more food than I've even eaten this year. My mom doesn't give me food so i practically starve myself.

"So lets dig in!" He says happily.

"So 30 questions?" He asked with his mouth full of food.

"Why not 20 questions?" I ask curiously.

"Because 20 questions is so mainstream." He says trying to stifle a laugh. I start to laugh and he finally gives in and laughs with me.

"So, whats your favorite color?" He asks me with a glint of adoration in his eyes. Wait what??
